Appalachian State -2.5 (-115)
The last five weeks for Appalachian State have been season-changing. The Mountaineers found themselves after enduring a tough stretch when Louisiana-Lafayette beat them soundly 41-13, and they narrowly defeated Coastal Carolina. They've emerged as a wonderfully well-rounded threat while averaging 36 points per game and allowing only 19. Their rushing attack will match up well against the weakness of Louisiana-Lafayette's defense.
The Mountaineers surrendered four turnovers and quarterback Chase Brice was terrible during the last time these teams met. So much has changed since then, making it hard to believe the Cajuns could replicate that performance despite boasting such a good defense overall.
This is a tough bet. The Cajuns haven't produced the same dominant resume as Appalachian State, and beating the same team twice during a season is extremely difficult. So take the Mountaineers to exact revenge in this terrific rematch.

The total is right at the level where the previous game between these teams finished, and I expect both offenses to be successful. Each coach has been aggressive during key moments, and that should continue.
