Sportsbooks have released odds for the 2022 Genesis Scottish Open at The Renaissance Club in North Berwick, Scotland. Jon Rahm is the consensus favorite, with Scottie Scheffler and Justin Thomas rounding out a clear tier atop the odds lists.

It’s been a ho-hum season by Rahm’s standards with his win at the Mexico Open at Vidanta his lone victory. He’s also failed to produce a top-10 finish in each of the first three major championships.

For Scheffler and Thomas, it’s been the exact opposite as the duo respectively won the first two majors of the year. Scheffler also sits atop the FedEx Cup Standings, and Thomas ranks fifth while also boasting the fourth lowest scoring average on the PGA Tour.

However, bettors will definitely want to consider the potential that this week’s Scottish Open is merely a tuneup for the world’s best.

The Open Championship at the Old Course at St Andrews is next week, after all.

Here’s a look at the odds from FanDuel Sportsbook and Caesars Sportsbook.

Following the big three, there’s a progressive drop in odds throughout the remainder of the field.

Matthew Fitzpatrick and Xander Schauffele have both earned recent victories in the U.S. Open and Travelers Championship, respectively, and will be popular bets to win.

Additionally, two-time major champion Collin Morikawa, reigning FedEx Cup winner Patrick Cantlay, and Mr. Runner-Up Will Zalatoris are also all likely to receive plenty of attention from punters.

Undoubtedly, there will also be a lot of action on Jordan Spieth from bettors.

It’s a loaded field.

Still, with the previous caveat in mind, don’t be surprised if this week’s winner in Scotland comes from down the odds list.
