Just to give everyone a quick update, I lost in the semis this last weekend in San Antonio. I am VERY happy to have made the semis in the last two Sectional tments here in Texas (biggest tment of the year for USTA, 600 points). The draw was 128 & to make the final 4 was a great accomplishment!!!! This should qualify me for the Masters again in Austin in November for Top 8 in Texas for 4.5 Mens Singles. I consider this a very great effort, bec I will qualify on only playing FOUR tments the back half of the year. Reason was that I played the Open level the first half the year. I have been bumped back to a 5.0 rating again, so I need to get it moved back down before I have to go play Open again next year, LOL!!!!
Just in case anybody was wondering, I had a wonderful result this weekend, saw a TON of good good friends & couldn't of scripted it any better (except for maybe winning the whole damn tment, hahaha). The guy I played was very solid, HATS off to him He played at UNLV & graduated in 2000. So NO shame in my loss there. Back to running the creeks & hitting the training court. I wish everyone the BEST of LUCK if they play this wonderful and extremely physical sport. If anyone knows how challanging this sport can be, its me.... And if anyone knows the extreme high you get from winning big matches or battling with someone for 3 hours and pulling out a W, its also me......

I'll be back on to post plays when the next ATP event is ready to roll. Until then, I will be popping in to see if anyone has any questions or comments.

I am also VERY happy to get my overall back to almost +$500 I think the parlay record is excellent, up over +$1,400, but the straight record (bec of some big favorites losing) is keeping this overall from being sensational. Not bad though, IMO, to be up $500 after almost 400 posted plays! As always, BOL to ev1!!!!

Sijsling has 39 wins this year & only 19 loses. He won 3 rounds of qualies at the Open and lost to Ferrer in third set breaker. He beat Gimeno in first round, who has been VERY hot lately. He won Vancouver two tments ago for him & he is a BIG guy who has a big serve which should work very well on this hard court!
Millot is 15-14 on the year and just lost in qualies for Moselle. He lost last tment to Goodall 1&5. He lost last tment to Ignatuk in the second round 0&3. He is not in good form & playing a big strong, confident guy on hard court is not gonna help him I have a feeling.

Youzhny has not played since he lost to Muller in that fifth set breaker at the Open. He won the first two easy & then lost 5,6&6. Ouch! He would be looking to get off to a good start this tment, esp since he is at home! He loves the clay & he should be wanting to win a tment like this, a good opportunity maybe.
Popisil is a tall Canadian who is at his best on clay IMO. He lost to Rhyne Williams in first round qualies at Open, which is NOT good. He lost last tment in first round to Fognini in straights. He is not in the best form at the moment & playing a hard tricky Russian like Younzhny probably won't help him get back on track.

Really like Sijsling to beat Millot this morning and possibly bad. It is like a Challanger match really, but Sijsling has 39 wins & has been winning a ton of matches! Millot has been doing the exact opposite. I can't see Millot taking this one, Sijsling should move into the second round easily.

Younzhny I think will be a close match actually. Could go three sets, but I think Youzhny gets it done in front of the home crowd and with Pops form at the moment all over the place and losing a bunch of matches, I can't see him upseting a huge first round match. Youzhny with a tough fought match into the second set I am seeing.

I am shocked that his line went that high!!!! I put my plays in last night & he stayed at -800 all night. I guess getting close to match time, people went nuts on him. That's a big jump from -800 to -1500, but he was NOT going to lose that match today. He wins that match 10 out of 10 times

Only had a bad day yest bec of Sijsling losing to a VERY POOR form Millot. That is a really really bad loss for Sijsling. Cost me on both plays. ARG!!!!

Looks like today I am going to catch it all back with a Sweep Day hopefully. All my plays have come in for today so far and I'm only waiting on Tsonga to win in straight sets. I would really like to get my overall well into the black, winning both plays today will help it get right back to where it was after my break from the Open.

Bookmaker doesn't offer game lines. Or that is one that I would seriously consider. The only problem I see here is if one set is breaker and Youz gets it, then the next could be a 6-2 or 6-3. If Ram serves well, he holds that 5.5 easy I think. If he struggles on serve, he prob won't cover that IMO. Youzhny will have adv almost every rally, Ram has to serve big to have any shot here I think of winning and in covering that 5.5. We have certainly seen that he is capable of holding that serve for a full match. I think Youz wins outright, but that spread could be close. Should be a good match. BOL today!!!!

I have decided to not play the last few matches of either tment in Russia or France. I think some crazy crap can unfold & I didn't like any of the matches yesterday or this morning. Probably going to wait until next week early to start hitting plays everyday again.

I hope someone is tailing me bec the other day, I had another Sweep Day. That's two in a row and I have won my last 4 plays actually pretty easily. All posted early & all at decent to good values. Well, I do know one thing..........I sure as hell am making money of these plays

***Just a side note. I have noticed that since the start of September, I have been hitting plays left and right and most quite easily. So, I went back and tallied up my numbers for September. I wasn't surprised to see this number actually, but I am very surprised that there is a tennis guy in here hitting his 12 of his last 15 plays and not even ONE person has told me they tailed & hit an easy play with me. THAT I do find perplexing........ Again, I don't care if 20 people follow me or none, I have just been banking money left and right with tennis & no one else in sharing in the wealth I guess. Oh well.......I hope to keep Septmeber hot & keep it rolling. ALL of my plays have gone up very early before the start of the first play on the ticket. And my bankroll was at a crappy 680, it is now over 3,600 & alot of that is bec the tennis gets me a great start everyday to play with house money & some days, with the football now in session, have been really really good days

I am very happy with that number over the last 3 weeks. My plays, when I do a tennis wager, have gone up much earlier. I still keep my plays always around the $100-$200 range usually. If I was doing 5 units a play, then my number for September would be like +50 units!! Betting medium to small bets, to be up $1,372 this month, I am very happy with that! I have been very selective on the plays I take or even if I wager for the day at all. Trying to keep it smart this month. I just love when I get hot & I have done this several times in this thread, hope to keep this one rolling. I hope ev1 has a great weekend, good luck!!!!

You mainly do parlays, which a lot of people are deftly afraid to do in tennis, and rightfully so, because we all know why. since you have been here .. what 3 , 4 months? you've been in the red or around .500

So why would someone just blindly follow you this month? You had a good month. Congrats. A lot of people made money during the US Open. They just have tact. Good luck and props to you for write-ups, posting often, and keeping an honest record.

What's up everyone??? Sorry, I have been out of town for about a week. My girl had some family pass away, so we were down near the border. She also had a brother taken back to Mexico & they dropped him off where that freaking jailbreak took place in Southern Mexico (135 inmates escaped!). So we were also dealing with another huge issue there as well trying to get him out.
Anyways, finally back home. Feels good!!!! I am going to start posting plays again. I want to address this idiot who posted on my thread & then probably throw some plays out for tonight later this evening. I hope ev1 has been doing great! And I wish ev1 the best of luck today, as always
