No, I just remember several people saying the winner of the third set would win the match and I wanted to bet and no one would bet because no one had any points.

Yes it is, although I'm not sure I see why it's more pivotal than the second set. There's a huge difference between tied 1-1 and one player being in dominant 2-0 position, wouldn't you say?

I wouldn't say a set isn't huge, just that the winner doesn't necessarily become a lock to win.

I agree, I used to play table tennis, and you couldnt have a shirt with the same color as the match ball (white). Obviously shorter distances and smaller ball so makes even bigger difference, I havent played tennis but still I yellow might be inappropriate...

It's not a lock as we all seen the Murray/Djokovic match but if the match is locked 1-1 I would say the 3rd set winner is much more likely(understatement lol) to win the 5 set match.

I was on the over 3.5 sets. It was either -225 or -250 when I grabbed it so I was a bit worried about Djoko winning in 3 (although I really doubted that would happen) because that would obv f me both ways. Now at least I saved the chalk bet and can just cheer for Nadal. If he loses, I break even If wins, it's been a good night
