Djokovic/Nadal in match thread

What a great match by both of them. Djokovic with another comeback in another Grand slam final. Proud of being serbian. Did anyone catch a live bet at 4-2 to Nadal in the last set? Wonder about that rates on Djoko to win it at that time. Anyways I cashed in 1.5K Usd on this, so congrats to all the winners here.

I still dont like Raffy;s game against Joker way too many short balls and balls right back at Joker instead of going for more angles
Jojer wins many easy points..raffy not as many
Raffy always on defensive..Joker no..well not always but you get the drift

Leave them both alone. When have you ever seen chairs brought out for the players to sit on during speeches after a final?

You'll never see that one on one for 6hrs in any other sport... no 58 commercials, no "defence/offence teams", no coaching, no trainers called, nothing. Yes people bet money but if you bet this match without appreciating this sport, then you should never have touched it because this is the best we'll ever see in our generation. Totally stoked for those who cashed...even though I broke even I truly don't feel like I missed out. What a way to lose on a +140 dog in a Final. This will be one of those "where were you moments" for years to come in tennis broadcasts. I thought Murray/Djoko was amazing but for sheer readiness to kill themselves on the court, I've never seen anything come close to this.

I agree, no scandal, bad calls not too bad (did not ruin anything), no injuries, 6 hour 5 setter, AWESOME

Made a max live bet of $500 (Left me with about $53 in my BR) on Djokovic on an ABSURD line when he won the 3rd set. Then Nadal flipped the switch and had me sweating bullets. Wound up putting the last $53 on Nadal to win late in the 4th to at least get some of my money back if he pulled it out. Would have been nice to be up 12x after that match, but I'll take 1.5x over broke 8 days a week.

I put wagers on Joker 3-1 and 3-2 both at very nice prices. The 3-2 hit at +458 and I was 10x more confident in that hitting than an nba -110

i bet on the joker for the match. a very rare tennis bet for me. it seems every time i bet this sport i have to gut wrenchingly sweat it out. was very intense though, gota give this sport that much.

Nadal vs every other player he is being on the attack most of the time against Joker he is a defensive player too much and afraid to go for more shots, also he hits way too many short balls and Joker tees off and gets great angles

I just finished watching it as well...what a fukkn battle...neither of these guys wanted to lose...not only was this a great tennis match but truly one of the better sporting events in a while and for that matter of all time...

I watched it again today. Fantastic battle with peaks & valleys for both players. I was very impressed with both Nadal & of course Djokovic. Djokovic is clearly the more talented athlete but not too much. Nadal has a never give up attitude and a desire to win that is refreshing in pro sports. Love having a wager on someone who plays with heart like that. I was so glad to cash my Djokovic ml -150 / Djokovic to win 3-2 +458 and I even put in a live wager on Djokovic to win set 2 @ -130 A sweet ending to a great Aussie Open.
