How do tennisphiles. tevari and I were looking to try and really jump start the WHACK OUR BALLS competition with more interest than what we got to start the tournament. Figured by the time the quarterfinals start, people are ready for a fresh start to try and win some points and the bracket contest isn't as big a time crunch on you now since you're already entered and finished.
For the people who are playing are FULL Australian Open contest, that one will continue to run until the end and for those who have made picks every day, you are eligible for free entry here as a thanks to participating.
So BobW, Moses Millsap, Yezzir and a special exception for FoolBrittania if he's able to make picks ... you guys need not worry about paying an entry fee.
For anyone else who wants to play, the fee is 10 SBR points. PROs should pay the ten point fee upon entry. Non-Pros may pay two points per day until you are paid up. I would suggest start paying TODAY if you are interested in this competition. If you are paying for another contest - please contact me to work out the details of your payment. Otherwise, complete payment is due by the day of the Men's Championship [Saturday, January 28th] to be eligible for a prize payout. "WHACK OUR BALLS" RULES & FORMAT
1. Beginning with the Quarterfinals in both WTA [Women] & ATP [Men] draws for the Australian Open, you MUST pick either a SPREAD [+/- games] or a total in EACH match that is played until the end of the tournament.
So that will be EIGHT picks during the QFs, FOUR picks during the SFs and TWO picks involving the two Championship matches.
2. In each ROUND, you must pick ONE bet as your "Best Bet" for the round. So that means ONE Best Bet out of your EIGHT Quarterfinal Picks. ONE Best Bet out of your FOUR semifinal picks and ONE Best Bet out of the two Championship matches.
*All picks will be "to win one unit" if betting on a line of -101 or higher and lines of +100 and higher will be "risking one unit.". The Best Bet will be double the bet size.
Your picks may only be SPREADS [+/- games] & TOTALS [Over-Under]. NO MONEY LINES.
Your picks must be made based on lines found at PINNACLE SPORTS only.

Anyone who does not pick the required amount of selections for the week will not be eligible to win points.
The prize pool for this contest is going to depend on how much participation we get. We want this to be BIG. We want 15-20 people or much more involved. So here is how the prize pool is going to go.
As of today, the prize pool will be 300 SBR points to start from our own pockets. Remember, this is a BEAT THE PRICK style competition. So if no one beats tevari/EP36's score ... NO ONE WINS ANYTHING and yes, we keep your entry fee for running the contest.
If we get at least 20 PAID entries, I will add another 150 points to the prize pool + all the entry fees will be available as a payout for a grand total of at least 650 SBR points. Obviously if there are more entries, that can grow even higher.
So the more people you tell about this, the higher the prize pool. So spread the word!
