The shitty ass chair ump didn't acknowledge his challenge. So Davey's challenge was ignored. And then the Ref came out (who you see like once a year) just to hear him out but there's nothing you can do. Now is when you think Isner wins. 8-8 in the fifth set. Isner serving at 40-A. First serve is called out, chair overrules and calls it in. Nalby tries to challenge but the chair says he took to long. Replay showed the ball was out. Isner goes on to hold serve and break Nalby the next game to win 10-8.

That's the thing... I don't even care about losing my cash. It was the fact that 99.9% of other players ask people in their boxes if they should challenge, they even ask the ump!!! etc... and they still get time to do it after. Guy goes to challenge pretty quickly and this nitwit doesn't even pay attention and then says you were too long??? So that's his fault??? Ummm everyone else saw him challenge, including the BLOODY REFEREE. wtf's the point of a ref if you're not going to overturn a shitty ass mistake????

Disgusting by the chair ump. He should be fired off the tour. He wasn't even clear with his initial overrule. Isner was walking up to him trying to challenge himself. Then it was clear Nalbandian was going to get broken after that crap. He should go ref the NBA or NFL, where retards reside.

He didn't wait that long. It was confusing, b/c Isner was approaching the ump to challenge himself. Then when Nalbandian realized what was going on, he double checked the mark and challenged and got rejected by the ump and the supervisor.
