Like I said a few posts back, I question his mind right now. He's a tough SOB, but his play has been pretty shaky the last two days since the news of his Grandfather's death. Normally, he would have won against Haase today probably 6-2, 6-0 with where the sets were at one point. Up 4-1 in the 1st, he let Haase back in. And running away with the 2nd, he got broken twice. Against an inferior player, you can get away with that. I think Berdych can take advantage. Now the question of course is will his play still be shaky tomorrow?

I don't particularly see the price as cheap. Probably accurate with everything being where it is.

Split the parlays again. Sarasota has been good to me this week. Three straight cashers there I believe.

I know singles matches I wanted to avoid, but cannot look over this one @ the price.

Sarasota Challenger: Lorenzi -115
If James Blake wins, James Blake wins. Lorenzi though is clearly the clay specialist and Blake nearly got beat by Kudla yesterday in a match that a more experienced player probably would have beaten Blake in. Blake is 7-0 at this event, but if you look at who he beat here last Spring - it's a bunch of young 'uns with little clay court prowess.

Waiting for Sarasota lines. Liking Lorenzi over Odesnik if he's at plus money. He beat him in Houston last week in three. Match opened around a pick em, but all the money went on Odesnik. Lorenzi has had the better week. Odesnik has made a bad habit of letting a couple opponents stick around for a third set.

Djokovic-Nadal NO Tie Breaks (-120)

A crapshoot of course because matches can play out so differently every time. Still, both have been vulnerable to breaks on serve and been able to break serve plenty on their opponents. Thus, I think the sets will have a bit of a runaway nature perhaps.

I think you're paying for a name again here with the price for Querrey on his worst surface. I've backed both these guys at different times this week and Querrey still seems shaky from set to set on clay. This is really the first true dirt baller that Querrey will have faced this week and we'll see how it shows. Windy conditions today, also could come into play. Not really sure who that helps or hinders honestly. I just like Lorenzi's play court prowess here to give him a shot. Querrey may over power him, but I don't think it's easy for him either way.

Well Lorenzi failed. Lost in 3. Really only showed up for one of the sets. Querrey tried his best to yack it up in the 3rd set. He was up 4-0, let Lorenzi get as close as 5-3 but then closed it out. I haven't looked at anything for tomorrow yet. Definitely plan on trying to stick to the parlay plays for the majority of the plays. Will take a look later on after all the NBA/NHL games are done.

Jeremy has pretty good form so far in 2012. I believe he knocked off the top seeded Florian Mayer is Casablanca (on clay)
All 3 of Chardy's lifetime ATP Quarterfinal appearances have been on clay
Potito bounces from challangers to atp. he's just..ehh. He is what he is.

Match is probably a toss up, but I'd go with Chardy for just his upside potential.

Anyone who has read my ramblings for a couple years knows that I detest Chardy, but he can be useful if you catch him in the right spots. His clay form as stated before has been pretty solid. Starace outside of his one run at a Challenger in his home country has been pretty miserable in 2012. Generally, you'll know if Chardy is up to snuff early in a match. When he's focused, his serve is a real weapon and hard to break. When he's in thunder dick mode, he'll face a lot of break opps on his own serve and be forced to find holds. I think that is the key in this match. His serve is light years ahead of Starace's at their best rates, but of course - whether or not the best is brought is the question.
