Raonic isn't a total mug on clay, I think he lacked confidence and match fitness in returning from that injury. He's certainly not going to beat any of the top players on dirt - but Montanes is someone he can beat. End of the day, the guys who are supposed to be there will be there when the semis come about. This tournament rarely springs a surprise in the finals.Comment -

Also, again trying to avoid single plays - but Ramirez-Hidalgo at plus money over Russell is one I think worth a shit. Fatigue could be an issue playing back-2-back-2-back tournaments, but his form on the Challenger level is red hot. Russell outside of his Houston run has not shown consistent clay court form. On Ferrer ... it's interesting that since Federer skipped Monte Carlo, he got bumped into a different and more difficult part of the draw.
