WTA: Sharapova-Kvitova Over 21 [-125]

No matter what shakes down w/Sharapova-Kvitova, I get a finalist with the futures. Tough to go against Masha at this point. Kvitova has the game to beat her, but her consistency is much lower.

Still undecided on the women. Disappointed I backed off the Shvedova handicap yesterday and now that I like Kvitova +4, I'm tempted to just take it. If her head isn't screwed on straight though she'll get blown out.

So far I have Vagnozzi +150, Meffert +240 and a parlay of Kavcic/Dutra Silva.

Meffert is on a pretty good roll, but I think Veic is better on the surface - as of right now though, I think it's pretty even so the better odds seem like a shot.

I really havent seen alot of wta clay matches recently but Sharapova had good numbers when they faced each other at Stuttgart and has incredible numbers on the surface this year. I love watching Kvitova with her serve but if she falls behind or starts spraying shots everywhere I think she is in trouble. She seems to have problems with her nerves at times.

The womans game right now is almost unbettable though in these later rounds or for futures, I cant remember a time when the top 10 was so weak. Love them or hate them, the Williams sisters were great for womens tennis.

Yes Eagles! Great pick here from watching him against Nadal in Rome and Barcelona and even watching David in Madrid against Federer in Madrid where he finally lost out, this is definitely a great pick from running these numbers.

I dont see anything in Ferrer and his game this year that makes me think this will be an easy first set for Nadal. I just hope there is not a case of nerves on Ferrers part, surprisingly David has not done well here in Paris in the past.

Just a normal sized wager. Neither is in good form so seeing Tursunov with massive odds makes little sense. Ward provedd at Queens Club last year that he can play on grass and beat good players. He might get crushed, but Tursunov has had no consistency this season so anything is possible.

haha I didn't even realise we both had the same parlay with Mayer/Tex. That's why I need to write my bets down. I totally forget about them. Just like our Sharapova future yesterday. I took Kvitova +4 when if anything I should've just taken the ML or skipped the match altogether if I'd remembered

Pretty surprising to see this match so dull especially after the year Ferrer has had, I really think this has been one of the dullest French Opens I can remember. Nadal is just going to take this title easily and Errani is playing for the women's title! That match probably wont be close either. At least Djokovic/Fed match should be good but who knows with this tourney.

We have some soccer on tap today as well but that Poland/Greece match isnt going to be too exciting I would imagine.

I was saying yesterday how boring it's been so far and truthfully I didn't hold out much hope for this one either. The only match I've really been excited about was Tsonga/Djoko and a few of the early rounds when my dogs won. Other than that it's been a snoozefest. Hopefully Fed/Djoko don't go through 6 rain delays or it's going to be just as dull.

I agree Shari, I cant wait for the grass swing to start. I hate clay and dont wager on it much but this tourney has been one of the most boring I can ever remember. I hope I am wrong but I dont think either one of these finals are really going to be much fun to watch, Nadal has been absolutely dominant and it just amazes me we are seeing Errani in the finals. This Fed/Nole match seems to be shaping up for more than 3 sets at least and we have soccer this weekend with euro 2012 and horse racing.

I doubt today euro match ups are going to win alot of fans, probably all the glamour of a scoreless draw wont make household names of guys like Blaszczylowski and Lewandowski

I think the men's final will be decent. Rafa doesn't own quite the edge he does against the rest of the field when you throw out Djokovic or Federer.

Not sure how you can call this French Open boring - Djokovic having to dig out of 0-2 holes twice + Federer doing the same. I guess boring is relative when you see Rafa Rick Roll the field on his side of the draw, but I think there's been some drama to this event - it's just as usual that the class of the best clay court players is so superior to the field that a lot of these matches wind up lopsided. It's not grass or hard where the field is much more evenly matched, leading to more evenly played matches with more genuine upset potential.
