Certainly be tough to beat Spain on clay in Spain, but you also have to consider that Nadal isn't close to 100%. Ferrer has to be tired. Verdasco is absolute shit. I wouldn't be laying chalk with all those question marks. I may take a pop at Argentina with the big odds. Ferrer even tweeted recently that it wouldn't be the end of the world to lose to a team like Argentina. They certainly have the clay court guys to do it - Monaco, Chela, Nalbandian and even DelPo.Comment -

*Mini Play: Argentina +440 to Win Davis Cup
Spain is likely to take care of business on home soil, on clay. However, given the questionable condition of Nadal and maybe even Ferrer after a grinding season - taking the large odds on the Argies is worth a dartboard shot to me.
*Nadal-Monaco Over 27.5 [-115]
Monaco may come out and get absolutely drilled, but given Nadal's sloppy end to the season where he looked worn down in London - I'm giving Monaco a shot to win at least ten games in three sets - if indeed Nadal ousts him in straights.
*Del Potro +150
Worth a small shot as well. Ferrer has admitted to be fatigued following his good showing in London. We know the guy is a beast fitness-wise, but Del Potro is well rested here and the type of guy who if his shots are hitting with precision can give Ferrer a work-out. I think the best of five format here could actually hurt Ferrer if he has to play four or five simply because of his recent workload.Comment -

I don't think his effort is rarely less than 100%. I think it was a combination of high desire for Davis Cup/country/responsibility (If you find anyone who feels more responsible for leading their country, let me know!) + better play + Monaco sucking ass as well.

I don't know man. Del Potro did not deal with the moment very well against Ferrer late and looked absolutely gassed. Nadal is going to be as fresh as he can possibly be at this point in the season. Del Potro certainly poses a better challenge than Monaco, but there's even more pressure on DelPo tomorrow than there was on Friday. Thinking about Under 31.5.Comment -
