I'm honestly not sure. Tipsy's stuffed me around a few times in the past when he seemed to have left his brain at home so it's hard for me to back him in a Final. As for Federer, Djoko's looked beatable this week from what I've seen and Federer is in his element in Dubai due to the amount of time he spends there. But I just don't know. I always say in here that I'm pretty crappy in Finals and tend to stay away from them. Too often what 'should' happen based on an entire week or two of matches in a tournament all goes out the window when it comes to a Final as some players ignore pain and seem to be able to pull amazing form out of their butts while other players choke and forget how to hold a racquet. I'm not touching these. I might make a play on the women for fun but as for these two, I really don't know. Sorry

I don't blame Bartoli for cracking in that match. She actually played well I thought. It would do any players head in when your opponent attacks so hard and still hardly misses a shot.

yeah, i watched the first set when i was extremely drunk. bartoli was hitting the ball friggin' well. woz just had an answer for everything. shouldn't have put all my eggs (of bets on the game) into the bartoli not getting smashed basket. oh well.

if any of you are action junkies or want a decent bet, get on the Firebirds -20.5 vs the Fever tonight. My hometown Fever just suck balls this season and should lose by that and more. i have 1.5x on it, which is a LOT more than i normally would on a netball game. i usually only bet half units for a laugh

i'm also on magic -14.5, but with less confidence (so for a laugh units) - starts in 10 mins.

Shari - do you think Namigata +4.5 is worth a play? I know it's a little bit of a crapshoot but Namigata has the better hard court record in 2010, and beat Sharapova recently in the Fed cup. Seems worth a 0.25 unit style bet?

I think it's a total crapshoot. I guess you never know what could happen but I can't really say that anything in that match looks like a decent bet. Kind of a crappy day of tennis all around.

That's really the only way to do it in this tournament. At least for the first 2 rounds - so many scrub players here that there's no telling what will happen.
