Zvonareva was a shocker. 9 double faults and could never do anything when she broke Demented. Yet again that cow escapes with a win.

Although I didn't post odds on 2 of the plays at the time as they were kind of afterthoughts, I used the odds that I got from my book. Again the assumption is all bets were one unit.

If you had been betting tennis as long as I have, you wouldn't feel the need to ask that question about her. You'd also know that Demented is the nickname that many gamblers have given this woman for the way she goes about her matches and the fact that she is an utter basketcase. Nice work .,i think Demetieva wins again today but she is a short price.

After watching Schiavone struggle with her serving yesterday, I think Demented can get it done if she plays consistently. The problem is that's never a sure thing with her and at this price, I'd be pretty wary of taking her. She's lost 6 matches as a $1.60 or less favourite since May which doesn't inspire too much confidence. Maybe the best thing to do is stick her in a parlay?

Yeah, there's no way I could personally touch her at all at $1.33. If Frannie had served better yesterday I would've jumped all over her in this match but I just can't justify putting myself through that stress again. The thing with Frannie though is she won't give up so if Demented's brain fades at all she'll be in trouble just like she was against Woz in New Haven after almost having that match in the bag.

Definite pass for me.

Baggy might be a live one against Youzhny. How motivated is Youzhny after just getting all those points- will baggy get revenge from last year?

This is what I'm debating: Marcos has been serving very well this week but Youzhny is normally a great returner. Does this cancel each other out? Baggy may want revenge but Youzhny needs these points to attempt to qualify for the finals at the end of the year. Canceled out again? They have virtually the same winning % on indoor hard in the past 12 months with Youzhny playing 9 more matches.

To me this is almost too close to call although there are a few people on TI saying that Baggy looked really fatigued against Giraldo. I didn't see the match though so I don't know how much weight to give to that. Kind of stuck on this one. Somewhat leaning the over but I'm not sure if I'm just reaching for something to bet on.

I didn't watch, but the Baghdatis-Giraldo scoreline is not impressive. I'm sitting that one out, but I think Youzhny will win in the end. Baghdatis still has never fixed his fitness problems. Guy could be Top 10 if he ever quit being a fat bastard.

Baggy seriously needs to hook up with Uncle Tony's fitness plan. Sometimes he comes out and plays with so much energy and other times he just seems to Weeble Wobble around on the court looking like he hasn't slept in a week. Not sure what his deal is.

I was leaning Youzhny before I started to really look at the match and I think it'd have to be him or no play for me here. You're right about the Giraldo match - very surprising that Giraldo won 2/3 BPs against him and that it got to 7-5 in both sets. Not too impressive on Baggy's part.

Baggy's a big fan favourite - especially for people who don't bet tennis very often so be careful with watching line movement. As we were talking about in another thread yesterday and have said in here a thousand times before, basing a pick on line movement in tennis will kill you in the long or even short run. I've been stung by it many times in this thread alone when I've beaten the closing number only to watch my player get smoked on the court.
