Gee, I've put so much money on the damn handicap that I'm praying Woz just finishes her off now. If we win this one by the hook after that first set I'm going to be thanking my lucky stars for a week.

Oh and Gee - I'm not sure if you ever bet the horses but I got a good tip today from a trainer. The race isn't for another 20 days but he told me to take Crystal Lily for the Golden Rose @ Rosehill now. You can get it at $8 right now and he figures the price is going to plummet once it races somewhere else this weekend and is a pretty good shoo-in to win at Rosehill.

cheers! i always bet the horses, although i stay away at this time of year.

been looking forward to the golden rose + start of the spring carnival for a while now (not that i've done the form - i haven't even seen a market yet!). not much action the last month. some shocking fields and tracks.

i always strugle at the start, so cheers for the tip!

great horse as well, but the draw with such a big, quality field is going to be crucial. i was on hinchinbrook in the siipper unfortunately, but I had considered CL in that race.

damn chari. the line for zakopalova in 5Dimes was +5. it was only a push for me.

got to be thankful it wasnt a loss though. was actually wishing so hard during the 2nd set when zako was up for it to finish a loss through tiebreak in the 2nd as i know she would be crushed the 3rd. i got that wish. just looking forward to coming picks.

btw i put on gimeno-traver, he won the first set, and he's up 6-5 the 2nd set only for the match to be suspended to rain!!!! what a bummer.

This is a tough match to call. Kuzy leads the head to head but the majority of those matches are from 2008 and earlier and Radwanska has been impressive this week so it's hard to go against her. Definitely only a small play on this match.

Yesterday I lost a little on Pennetta and a total but I won a big bet on Zakopalova so I'm happy. Have a really small bet on Radwanska but that's it - staying away from anything else besides a few MLB games today. Too much of a crapshoot for me in these matches and I don't see a point of pissing money away just by taking a guess.

Hope your hangover is starting to fade.
