I will say that when she was talking and just standing there, she looked 100x better than she does when she's playing or in photographs. I think she's one of those women whose personality needs to come through in order for her to look her best. Either way, she was lovely in her speeches and was the best player on the day. Sam will have plenty of more chances to win this one in the future.

Sure am glad I backed off of Stosur (read, fell asleep last night before deciding to officially making a bet, thank the Lord). I completely missed seeing the match, too. Perhaps I will catch a replay of it on Tennis Channel this week.
