How are those guys bums? Melzer destroyed Ferrer who was playing unreal. Almagro took Nadal to three very tight sets, could have easily one 1-2 of those sets if he works on the mental aspect of his game.

im gonna bet all my sbr pts on stosur and take her for five units in my book. she should win in two sets...stosur beat jankovic too easily, so im sold on her to win. gl to all on stosur.

i put 2000 sbr points on stosur too lol. the chalk's too much, but I have to capitalize in 1 way or another. She's hitting it too well right now.

Since there are no tennis parlays in the SBR book, I'm all in with points on Stosur, then all in on Nadal. Strangely enough, I think I'm more confident in Stosur, even though a best of 3 match can always be dicey. Soderling scares me, but how can you not like Rafa at RG? I don't think either of them are locks, but both worth pushing all in with points.

Glad to see others besides myself on Stosur despite the chalk. I got 10 units at -450. Don't really see her losing considering i believe her last three matches were against more challenging opponents - I'm going big here... but then again, it's womens' tennis so anything can happen. I think Stosur will win but not worth the price. Sam has a history of choking and not being able to seal the deal in past years. I sure hope the old Sam doesn't show up if you're crazy enough to lay the big price.

First post here...long time lurker...I'm suprised so many of you are so vehemently behind Stosur. I understand she beat up on some decent players, but in my mind to take someone whose never been to a GS Final at those odds is rather risky and definitely not worth the value. Though to be fair, I'm betting on student type money so my budget is probably way less, and there's no amount of money I can wager on Stosur that would be worthwhile in terms of result.

So who has Stosur beaten? Justine Henin, admittedly a world class player but this was her first time back at the French after a year and a half out! Jelena Jankovic is a complete shadow of her former self and starts choking the moment she wins her Quarter Final matches. Serena was admittedly a bit of a shocker, but even then Serena seemed to just be casually knocking balls long.

Of course Stosur has played very well and is the favourite, but I've seen Schiavone live and she has an impressive game (if not an impressive look lol) and is sure to give the Aussie girl a run for her money today. To me, this is closer to 50/50 than the odds show because neither woman have been in this situation before, neither woman has really proved themselves on the bif stage and yet both have clearly improved a lot over the past 12 months. I'm more inclined to take Schiavone on the 4.5 game handicap in this one.

Saying all this...I've been wrong before.

stosur lookin as close to a lock as there is, but im rooting for schiavone all the way, and in my opinion stosur looks more manly than the italian

Good morning all. I didn't make a play in this match. I do think Stosur will win but since my book offers live betting for the finals I was hoping maybe the Italian can steal a set and then I get a better price live.
