So now we have Berdych vs Federer or Soderling. Berdych destroyed Soderling on hard court in Miami this year. Their only meeting on clay was back in 07 which Berdych won, but that meeting means nothing.
As I said when I made this bet, this really isn't who I think would have won (I've been on record since the clay season began that Nadal won't drop a set this tournament) but more of a value bet. I don't feel comfortable backing Serena at her odds as I think Stosur will put up a fight. My first thought when the lines came out was Serena 2-1 at +285 and I might end up sticking with that.
