Oh I already talked myself out of it, dont worry haha, normally so far I usually try to place the bet before the tournament starts or anyone has played to get the best odds (SOMETIMES books can be slow to update their odds if you shop around right) but then there is that unknown where your player you think will win just bombs it in the first round because theyre looking ahead to another tournament (See Johnson as mentioned on my previous post)
But then there are other examples where you see ahead in that regard (for example my bets against Fognini and Coric)
Probably worth making a mental note of all this for 12 months time heh. It's always tough to back someone to win their first title, although for Jarry IMO it was a matter of when and not if.
TL;DR it was more a post to engage discussion and bounce off thoughts with all you fine folks on here.
