On the flip side it seems every time Isner has played the week before a Slam, it has always been a bad omen and he always seems to struggle or not give a crap. The harder part is obviously to find the spot to fade him, probably usually as a favourite heh.

Time for a shake up, clearly not doing well at this slam, so feel like I could do better picking one and taking a bigger risk then continually digging deeper into a hole and losing. If I lose...I lose, and ill cop it on the chin, if I win, good for me.

Kei Nishikori vs Fernando Verdasco

Putting things on the line, as much as it pains me to back someone as inconsistent as Verdasco, in a spot where he is an underdog when he is on, he can definitely beat many guys on his day.
He has come close to reaching the QF on 5 different occasions (6th being this year) and I don't doubt he would love nothing more then to be the QF of a slam in which he probably feels that he should have done better in. And what a better opportunity then to take advantage of a Kei Nishikori who physically he probably feels he can wear down and who has looked very shaky including losing a set to Kokkinakis who has not played in 18 months and a set 0-6 to Hyeon Chung which was a bit of a surprise.
Last year Kei Nishikori beat him in 5 sets in the third round, and I'm expecting potentially a similar result, except Verdasco is probably playing better here then he was last year. The thing that I have seen from my other bets so far is that slow starts have been a killer so I'm hoping that turns around here.
Willing to accept all criticisms before and after the result, and obviously I don't place these sort of plays without being confident so let's hope he has one more good game in him.
