Not a chance. Djoker would have destroyed Istomin, it wouldnt have been close. In all their five matchups on Isto vs Djoker, Isto hasnt even come close.

He destroyed him in straight sets on four occasions , even on this same surface at Miami it was a 6-1 6-0 beating so it's foolish to think even if Istomin played his best game that he would come close. You have to realize Nadal's game is heavily dependent on guys that cannot handle that extreme topspin. On days when he leaves those groundstrokes high and lifeless, he gets pounded by guys that know how to handle that topspin ......Djoker is one of those guys (and the best of them).

Nadal much more determined and serious this week, he just blinked one time this turny and thats against Raonic when he serve to stay in the 1st set,on the other hand Novak didnt not look sharp at all, against Murray he could definitely lose the game, or at least get in trouble if the judge was not dumb and Murray was not a mentally beach.

Djokovic has played just three matches in Miami after two his guys withdrew and as we know Novak,such a break affects(in the bad way) a lot on his game so really I can not find one good and solid reason why we should back him over Nadal today.

Weather won't be a factor today. It was gusting around 15mph early in the morning but looks calm now. Also sometimes when it states 18mph wind conditions on your weather report, that doesnt mean it will be the same in the stadium. It can still be calm in the stadium.

It was over after Rafa was broken in the 2nd set. He was completely dominated by Djoker today. Nice hit MDF. I should've listened to you.

In fact, this match makes me want to buy RG's futures for Djokovic. I will not do that since there is too much time left until RG, but right now I would not call Nadal a favorite over Djoker even on clay. Plus, Djoker only needs to win RG for his career GS (something that the likes Sampras or Lendl never achieved). Just checked: 5d has Nadal @ -150 and Djoker @+170. Wow. Should be ~+110 each.

Joker does not have to make it to the finals of the French. Clay is his worst surface for sure. One thing you can bet on is that he will not be favored over Nadal at the French. He can win, but better to wait for the final if you like him then a future.
