*i know Murray hasnt exactly been Lights out lately but his ground strokes in rallies have been decent. Murrays won both his last 2 matches in 3 sets but both his opponents upped there game big time at the right time. Murray still found a way. Raonic has the head to head but I see the talent far greater for Raonic to overcome this time. Raonic struggled somewhat on his service games but managed to get thru them. Murray's definately a step up from the previous opponents. This court also suits Murray better as Raonic will be stuck in many more long rallies that I doubt he can win. Murray 2-0 sets.

*this is also day 3 of the DOG LINES. I expect a lot of chalk to come thru today. The fool me 3 times, I don't think so attitude applys here IMO

Giraffe has not looked amazing but has won his matches.Murray has not looked great since his injury. He is improving fast tho

I know what your saying HC. Did you watch Milos vs Falla? Falla had break chances. Falla just can't serve. I think the Head to ahead alters the odds huge here. You have to remember Murray lost on clay where he didn't give a shit, and indoor Hardcourt where Milos is almost unbreakable.

The market has been ****** all week HC. This is one of the few tourneys that I think they are having problems predicting. It seems they just went by stats on H/H and maybe 1st serve %

I haven't been able to watch Raonic yet this week but Falla only made it past X-30 in two of Raonic's ten service games. I don't think you can question Raonic's serve game so far, there have been zero signs of rust there.

I was initially going to be all about fading Murray but I'm staying away as I think the odds have come too far down. Yet at the same time, I can't possibly bring myself to back someone who has looked as shaky as Murray has...9 times broken out of 30 against Rosol and Vesely? You say Falla had his chances against Raonic, but that's grasping at straws compared to all the chances Murray had been offering up.

BUT...not at all saying Murray is the wrong side. Just that I don't think Milos' performance this week can be used as the justification for betting against him. He seems to be in better form than I would have guessed in his first tourney back.

Thanks man. That outdoor court in Tokyo is a medium to fast paced hardcourt. all you have to do is serve lights out. It's also a 500 event for Murray, motivation is there but it's not huge. Murray was injured in Canada plus Raonic was at home. This slow harcourt in California, is brutally slow.

I caught glimpses of it, but not too much. I tend to only watch matches I actually find interesting... Giraffe tends to rarely feature in those.

Good point with the surfaces by the way... slow hard should be ideal for Murray's game.

I have no opinion as to whether the market has been off or not in terms of odds.

Yeah but Gasquet is from France + he is not that reliable in 2014 especially playing abroad.. Gulbis, Kohli, Monfils , Robredo have all "destroyed" Richard on hard in 2014..

+ i forgot to mention Fernando and his mentality.. He is well known for self-destruction. Today with Isner on other side and his crazy serving + he is great in rallies also for his height. I was watching whole match against Davydenko and Lu , and if Isner can repeat his game i see absolutely no chance for Verdasco..

That was on that blue smurf clay. Those results should be thrown out for any match you see from that tournament as it was one of the worst surfaces in the history of the tour and skewed results for every player there.

Yea Murray is done. He got the second set break and then got broke to 0 right back by Milos of all people. You should never got broke to 0 by Milos.
