over is very likely if Rosol does not serve really really well on break points

[QUOTE=addictedto;21727013]Rosol will destroy Haase who is a mental midget. Straight set victory for the defending champion.[/QUOTE
you guys don't watch Hasse much? I guess I put my foot in my mouth... This guy is 6'5 26 years old. Wtf is wrong with him. He was great at points last year on clay. I could never trust Rosol. Good hit guys

I think you havent watched Rosol lately
16 wins in last 20 games. Of 4 losses 2 to Federer(in Monte Carlo Rosol was damn close to win the first set), 1 to Murray (won a set), 1 vert tight game to Thiem
He is King

Yeah, I never really understood this guy Rosol... Everytime I watched him, he sucked ass. Hasse last year was great on clay... He choked hard today/recently as well. I don't know what his problem is. He must be part French. Good hit in the end man

Ramos/Hewitt
Expecting Hewitt to resist a bit here, can't see Ramos winning too easily...
perfect example of the difference between over games and handicap games hahaha

thanks beefcake!!
for today
Haas didn't look great on clay this year in south america
Falla is playing good. He fixed his last challenger game was otherwise he's having a good year.
Good luck, Tips. I appreciate your work. I'm curious how you discern between a guy fixing a match and a guy simply sucking on a given day. I imagine as a player, it might be easy to tell, but as a spectator, this is such an unpredictable sport, and motivation/mental stamina is all over the place with these players, I don't find it an easy read whatsoever.

hi marni
can't tell really but for sure it's easy to fix a game
but i can't remember watching a game when the fix was certain?
last obvious fixes around were Volandri/Peliwo when Volandri lost, or Falla in challenger...
i'm afraid most of fixes are not televised
i just remember a match last year, between Fischer and Zeballos, was watching, the odds before the match were too weird, but Zeballos ended up winning the match (his odds were raising before the match)
anyone remember that match ? i still don't understand what i happened...Zeballos looked like he was trying to lose the match but ended up winning it

Thanks for the reply. I'm rather fascinated by the entire subject of match-fixing. It seems like tennis might by one of the last major sports where match-fixing can still slip under the radar on a regular basis (especially on the Challenger/ITF level). I think team sports are largely too difficult to manage in that regard.
Anyway--good luck!

Tennis is the easiest sport to fix a match. On ITF Futures level almost 50-60 % of matches are fixed. I used to be a player before i went to college. At the futures tournaments where the champ gets 1000 dollars max, you can see players arriving with cars for over 200k.
Oh and btw: Did you know that since 1998 lower event increased their prize money with only 20 %, while ATP/Grand Slam events with over 300 %! How do you think those people survive/support their families?

Yes i meant that one.
It was like watching comedy show, except that Zeballos won in the end when everyone though he was acting in order to lose the match !

Nieminen +8 games looks allright, I don't think Nadal will smash him like he smashed Monaco.
Nadal should win something like 6/3 6/3, Nieminen can do good today.
