#143I seriously like the over total here. These guys can't fool one another. Plus the extra time Fed has on court, just fitting for a 3 setter IMOComment -

#149I know Granollers's character, he just needed to make a few little adjustments and keep it away from Vaseline's forehand.
Forehand to forehand vaseline crushes him.Comment -

#150Granollers's is a ball absorbing counterpunching grinder and if he's fit, he can beat the roger vaselines glide, serve and volley attack with the forehand and approach the net sort of style. He's not that good with that style IMO and also inconsistent throughout the duration of a match with it.Comment -

#155Vaseline had all of the momentum so broke twice, but because there was a 5 minute sit down before the start of the set, the momentum lost it's power of swing and matters were reset. Granollers also has the character to go away and sit down to reassess proceedings and come back stronger, he's that type of character.

#168Monfils to beat Rafael Nadal @3.00 with Pinnacle (Using 3 units)
Monfils is probably in the top 5 for athletism in the men's game. The one thing he lacks however is fitness, the fitness to continuously execute his game at around the highest level to compete with top 8 or so player's in the world. However it's the start of the season and he is fully fit and fresh.
With this athletism comes counterpunching brilliance and shotmaking of the highest calibre. The athletism allows him to stay with Rafa from the baseline and if he has any brain, avoid the blokes hugely heavy whipped forehand. The court's are fairly slow, so this matchup will come down to how often Monfils can avoid hitting it into the Rafa forehand or allowing Rafa to get his forehand into practise and thus dictate the matters in proceedings. Rafa's game centers around his forehand and without it, he is drastically less of a player.
I believe Monfils has a better backhand than Rafa, one that can do more damage on a consisent basis and so for Rafa to attack either wing of Monfils's, he's unlikely to get many "shallow" balls with Monfils in this form. Counter aggressively Monfils can do all sorts of damage off both the forehand and backhand wing and Rafa is more limited to counter aggressiveness on the forehand side. If they're rallying backhand to backhand, I'm sure Monfils in this form would be the one to prevail.
I think at the end of it all it will be the serve that gets Monfils over the line and the famous victory in this one. He just has that amazing knack of when inspired to produce those big bombs. Rafa is clutch on serve also, however doesn't have the pounding flat serve to win him points down the T. IMO Monfils has the athletism and movement to get the lefty Rafa serve that outswings wide after kicking up, because he has those magic limbs, ala Djokovic. You only beat Nadal if you put in an amazing service performance. Ask Rosol, ask Darcis, ask whoever has beaten him.
Monfils to get a set @1.8 (7 units)
Monfils to get a set winner.
Plus the inrunning player on monfils set 2 winner.
Will calculate total profit for the day and altogether later on.Comment -

#169Desire, will to win, inspired to win, crowd will help him, TOOOO WIIIN!
Closer to the player he was between 2000-2006 than Federer is the player he was between 2004 and 2010... and they had relatively close battles back then. Hewitt will pepper the backhand and draw errors, smart player, allcourt player. Will do it, trust me.
Watched the video back twice now against Nishi. Nishi did cramp, but Hewitt was still at quite a good level.

#173You're the biggest pussy here, get out of here, you don't like, watch and most likely even bet tennis. I don't need to explain the fact Halep was clearly rusty and only interested in getting a quick hit. You're too much of a dumb American to gage this though. Only interested in trying to put down others.
Don't worry, I'll leave you to suck matt's rooster.Comment -

#174The loss is a result of Halep not playing any proper tennis for 2 months, so by default. Nothing to do with my ability to pick a winner. This bloke's way too much of a tool to let that one go though. It's natural players may tank matches because they have a bit of rust on them and only want to EASE themselves back into action. This tournament was probably see as an aid to get her a solid match "hit". It's frustrating on my half that I never saw somebody like Halep to be the type of player that would do this. Three double faults in one service game and all the while this guy is stroking his rooster with a tent being put up down there. (Small tent)
Anyone that has seen Halep before knows. Anyway, like I said, post in here again and I'll be the one trolling you all over this board and own you just the same way I did in that other thread.Comment -
