No,the point is what you failed to comment on. His reaction to winning a 1.4 bet after his player won from saving 3 matchpoints and also being a break down in the decider.
He just thinks because he's heard of the player to a commercial level and only seen scorelines of the other player, that the more commercial one is bound to win.

My problem is the characterless reaction to winning a bet at shitty odds which he claimed he would have taken at 1.2 as he thought Fischer was 5.00 and over.
