Bouchard is still very prone in this tournament I think, although the wind is making it hard for everyone today so it's a little difficult to gauge everything as a whole. Sorana may still pull this outright.

I think better to try the games totals. Too much chalk on the sets. I would be surprised if it didn't hit, but early in a Slam you never know.

Yep, totally got killed. I was down and I hopped on and tailed during warm up....two pretty sizeable bets, one on the ML and the other +4.5 games. No research, just tilting from this USO. If I don't quit after today then I need to recognize myself as a total degen. I have never had a week like this in any other sport....the same thing happened to me at the end of the clay court season last year....not sure why I didn't learn.

From now on I will only be betting ATP during the dirt season....it just seems so much easier.

If he converts one of the large number of break opps he had, probably would have won the set 6-4 and it would have slipped under. But that's how it goes some times.

I think you see different parts of the season "easier" based on how you do. Tennis betting is tough, period. Everyone has hot streaks and cold streaks. Usually best when you think the world is against you or you seem to be losing everything due to "luck" that you take a breather. Hardest to do, but usually best.

Thinking of taking on a Jankovic Future. She's played pretty well and has changed up some of her tactics from what I read that seems to be helping. With all the upsets, that bottom half of the draw is pretty open even with Sharapova in there.

I tailed you and another great capper on that under. It was a miracle that it didn't hit. What upsets me EP, is players taking sets off (even in a best of 3), I'm talking Venus here, in a major. Or guys retiring (or quitting by letting the other player win) because
they don't think they can come back (look at what Thiem did today just by hanging around). You usually don't see stuff like this (or at least so much of it) in other sports. Tennis players are wired differently, and the psychology of the sport often leaves me dumbfounded.

I don't think Venus takes sets off. She's been a rollercoaster ever since she was diagnosed with that disease. Her energy levels can come and go from game to game.

I didn't see that here, EP. What I saw was a lack of focus and taking an opponent that she had beaten easily too lightly to start the match. If she was physically weak at the start of the match she wouldn't get stronger as the match wore on. That would be a very strange disease indeed.

Read about the disease though, it seriously sounds like she has kryptonite in her body. What you saw today sounds pretty typical of how it can effect her.
