He hadn't lost a service game all set and was looking good.

then he comes back in the first service game of the 2nd Set serving up a storm again

too many unpredictable things happen. there is no consistency.

in the 2nd Set Dancevic looks like a world beater. He can do no wrong. but he couldn't get one service point in 3 chances to win the 1st Set. ok

Unfortunately, that is not that unpredictable. Dancevic sucks. I finally stopped trying to back him earlier in the year.

Yeah that are a one set for action book. I've found over the years that I prefer on books that require a complete match. Might cause you to miss a win here and there, but it seems that the bailouts help out more at least psychologically for me. This week for example. I guess I'm 1-1 on that. Burned by the Sock retirement cancelled the Andujar bet and then grateful today for Baghdatis going down early.

ballpark similarly-ranked opponents + one French + one Spanish + important match = no-brainer on a pick'em pool...

as a bet it gets even easier to know who to stab at...as the big +sign on the Spanish player here + the importance of the match is enough to offset any H2H issues based on earlier/non-GS encounters

I've pretty much quit betting Paire matches this season. He's on the same plane of existence as Dolgopolov to me. You truly never know what you are going to get. You can get a guy who can knock off top five players one match and a guy who couldn't beat a WTA player the next. Rather not worry about which one will show up in a given match personally!

All of the Spanish guys in this USO are falling apart. They work too hard during the summer....nothing left.

And of course the Querrey match will go the distance and the Nishikori match gets retired....would have been nice if GL retired for us over backers.

Hahahahahahaha.....so I grab Wang at +4 games...wins the first set 6-4, loses the second set 4-6. Should be an easy cover here, right?

Gives up 11 consecutive points (7 of those on HER serve) to lose 6-2 and I get a PUSH. That is this year's USO in a nutshell for me.
