Two fold to me: books/public overestimating the "streak" for Goffin who still has not beaten a Top 20 player this year, I believe. And perhaps just motivation for a 250, but being at home, I would have thought the opposite + his track record at Metz.

Tough call. Niculescu has that quirky game that can be tough to combat. I think she's been a little more impressive. She's not real experienced in Finals though, Cornet has the edge there. Really is as the line suggests IMO, a toss-up.

Been saying it for a few years, once you get outside the top 10-12 in WTA, almost anyone can be ranked interchangeably between 12-100 because the skill levels aren't all that different.

And of course most of them have C level serves which evens the playing field quite a bit. Very different from the men who can get buy in many matches with nothing but a serve.
