the original focus on Challenger Qualified-but-Unseeded Homies should be maintained...for quite a while longer...if the focus and definition of "what your're doing" strays as you go...evaluating "what you're doing" becomes impossible...

stick with Challenger...fight the temptation to include the broads, the bigs and the slums: keep it simple and consistent with the initial inkling you set out to investigate

I know this goes in a different direction from the purpose of this thread, but I wanted to get your opinion on fading Florian Mayer at Braunschweig.

Seems like he's slumming, but this is a German tournament. He had plenty of time to recover from Wimbledon, so fatigue probably is not an issue. What do you think, beefcake?

No,no wildcards, qualies or players that get in by other means such as Alternates or Lucky Losers.Have to be good enough to get in on your own merit and not seeded.

alternate: Player or team that gains acceptance into the main draw of a tournament when a main draw player or team withdraws, when there is no qualifying tournament which could provide a lucky loser instead.

10.57% on the Challenger HUM (...could be smooshed together to CHUM...but then, there go all the double entendres) program so far...

whatever the acronym...success, I'd say...i think "feeling comfortable at home" is an intangible that most bettors/books never consider...hence it is a worthwhile source of value to assume is NOT "factored into the price"

it's up to you beef, stick with HUM (for cuteness) or augment to CHUM (for more fully describing what u'r looking for)...

Ungur, altho definitely Home-country, must not be qualified (either as Unseeded partcipant or as a Main-draw participant)...judging from the odds they went off at...i'd guess Ungur was seeded (cuz he's definitely not a Challenger fill-in)...

I mistakenly bet on Crivoi...and pocketed a few $ for my error...

so our only remaining Romanian HUMmer is Crivoi
