He was okay, but had trouble getting his 1st serve in. He's got a very pedestrian - as in under .500 record vs. lefties and Verdasco has emphasized that he really wants to kick start a resurgence at home this week. Doesn't mean he won't get smoked, but I like some of the factors here with the odds.

TBH I thought Raonic played the better match, but he's still very young and flakey. Hard to imagine Verdasco coming back from 4-1 down in the breaker, but he did.

Yeah... This is the info I have:

"M Fyrstenberg (POL) / M Matkowski (POL) d [WC] N Almagro (ESP) / O Marach (AUT) 41 ret. (Almagro – left hip)"

And I read somewhere else that Almagro was probably 50/50 on even playing.... So it would more then likely be cancelled anywa.
