Sam Querrey -140 We played and lost this same matchup 3 weeks ago. Really hard to beat a guy 2 times in a row. Check out Felianco Lopez's career stats at Valencia. They are beyond awful. There is no home court advantage here. Querrey has had a great year and I expect him to finish it out strong.

Sorry been out for a couple days.

2 plays tomorrow, both "underdogs", both medium sized plays.

Jurgen Melzer +120 David Goffin is going to be one of the next big players but give him another year. He had an impressive win against Isner and seems ripe for a letdown loss here. Jurgen Melzer is very good on the surface and with a slower court like Valencia has been, I think his game is tailor made for it.

Marcel Granollers + 140 I just really do not understand this line. If they want to give me plus odds to take the better surface player who won this tournament last year and beat Dolgopolov in straight sets at this tournament last year I will take those odds every time. Please and thank you.

Grigor Dimitrov -160 Looking to go 2-1 on the day and liking this play. He's further in his development than David Goffin was so not as worried about the experience factor here. PHM always has a hard time putting back to back good matches together and I think the last one took a lot out of him.

Sorry didn't post any plays today. I usually concentrate mostly on football on Saturdays and Sundays. I did use Alex Dolgopolov in a couple of cross sport parlays so glad to see him come through after burning me yesterday. Probably no plays tomorrow either.

David Ferrer -3 -115

This is going to be Ferrer's best chance at winning his first major 1000 level tournament in his career. These courts have been incredibly slow which is basically tailor made to Ferrer's game. I know Jerzy Janowicz has been a great story but it ends here. He's played a bunch of head cases thus far to advance and Andy Murray basically tanked the 3rd set to allow him to advance. I was impressed with his serve today against Giles Simon who has one of the best return games out there today. I just think he's got to be physically and emotionally drained after this week (watch his post match interviews, he's getting teary eyed everytime). Ferrer is like a bulldog out there; never quits; no easy points. Hell he saved 10 break points in the 1st against Llodra today. I really want to see David win both as a fan (my favorite player) and as a gambler.

Every top 20 player has a bunch of horrible and/or surprising losses to their name. People have off days, happens all the time. Get Ferrer and Isner to play 10 matches in 10 days and Ferrer would win 7-8 easy.
