    Betway Sportsbook confiscates player balance

A Betway (SBR rating D-) player claims a £7,000 balance has been confiscated. The player indicates there has been no trickery on his part, and that his balance was increased over time after accepting a starter bonus. Betway has made SBR news as of late for seizing winning player balances in accordance with a bizarre rule. | Read more

I registered there before knowing this, some 3 months ago, just to check them.I took the 25ebonus offer, my first bet was double, stake 50EUR.The bet was lost. After that, they limited my account to 1-2e.So now I must place 150 bets to fulfill rollover requirements.

"Other examples of irregular game play include but are not limited to, placing single bets equal to or in excess of 30% or more of the value of the bonus credited to their account until such time as the wagering requirements for that bonus have been met."

At least my relief is that my first bet wasnt single...So I think I didnt do anything wrong.

If you can be bothered, you should try filing a complaint with the Lotteries and Gaming Authority of Malta. Not sure if it will help much but books should not limit players to ridiculous amounts when they're trying to fulfil a rollover.

Yeah, I thought about complaining, but then I realized it is similar hassle as placing another 100 bets, so I will try to fulfill requirements this way.But still, WARNING TO ALL, DONT PLAY AT BETWAY.
