    Sportsbetting.com wire transfer update
    I requested a wire transfer on September 27th (because the check they sent me bounced). It is approximately 10 days later and the money is still not in my bank account.

    Upon originally requesting the transfer, I was assured it would take "no longer than 3-5 business days." Clearly that is not the case.

    I was also asked to verify my bank info via email. Rather than email that sensitive information, I sent it in directly through the website. There has been no confirmation or any other communication from them.

    Based on everything I have read and based on my experience so far, I do not expect the money any time soon. It would not surprise me if it never arrives. I know there are many people on these boards who claim that we should all rest assured that we will get our money, but I'll believe it when it happens.

    I requested a bank wire from sportsbetting.com on Sept. 23rd and received the funds on Oct. 3rd. I requested a check from them on September 17th, and received it on October 1.

      My check from this book also bounced. I faxed the scanned check to them last week to have my account re-credited. Customer service says that they cannot tell me how long this process will take.

        My account got re-credited today. Before that, I requested 2 checks and 1 wire transfer. My instincts are that this book might not last much longer. There is a $500 limit on NFL sides and $300 on NFL totals, suggesting they cannot take much risk.

          I requested a bank wire on 9/29. I asked about it today and they told be it was still being processed. I have received a check from them about 2 weeks back, so I can't complain yet.

          A $500 limit on NFL sides! Wow! That is really surprising. Not a good sign if they can't take risk on NFL games. Those must be the lowest limits of any book out there on the NFL.

            Has anyone actually received a bank wire from sportsbetting.com other than Go Noles? And if so, how long did it take, and what was the process? I put in for a bank wire for $7,500 on October 2nd, and I have not received anything as of yet, including no confirmation/communication from them. Their website dictates that it will be delivered within 5 business days, which would be tomorrow. However, from reading these posts, it seems that will not be the case, and I will be waiting much longer. I have been with sportsbetting.com for about three years, and a couple of years back I received a bank wire within 2-3 days. This may have been an E check (not sure if this is the same thing) but I do know they follow similar processes. I hope that they have corrected their problems, but if anyone has any additional insight on this subject, I would greatly appreciate it.

              Also, I see that some of you have discussed "pending" and "processed" withdrawals on sportsbetting.com. Where exactly do you find that information on the website, because I can't seem to find it anywhere. It seems that the bank wire might have been just thrown up there to delay payments even further, because I have only heard of one successful wire. And if this is the case, I guess I would like to switch to getting paid out in a few separate checks instead, as they seem to somewhat more reliable....

                There is no information put in for a check today and you will get it next wednesday via fed ex. Guy online today told me 20 biz day's next thing I know the check is here. Checks only for me at this point No problems at all here I've gotten 6 of them since the bounce Sept 11th. GL

                  I requested a bank wire on September 19th and received a check via Fedex instead on October 2nd. I requested another bank wire on September 28th and received a check via FedEx on October 6th. I was sent an e-mail before the first check arrived advising that they were going the FedEx route instead but never got a tracking number. I deposited these checks and so far so good (i.e. no bouncing yet). These checks were from a Canadian bank.

                  I also requested regular checks on September 11, 12, and 13th. I still haven't seen those yet. Has anyone requested a regular check anytime close to those dates listed above? These requests are nearing the 20 business day mark.

                    Total I requested on those dates and got the check weeks back i would make sure those are the one's you are missing b/c I'm still waiting on a SMALL wire and have yet to get them....

                      I verified the amounts and dates with customer service multiple times. I even kept my own records. These amounts are completely different from the Bank Wire requests so I know that I didn't mix those up.

                      The funny thing is that my Bank Wire requests which ultimately turned into checks via FedEx are the only consistant things that worked out for me.

                        I have also been with sportsbetting.com for 3 years, and till now have been very satisfied. I especially like the nickel lines on Friday.

                        In September, they were giving 25% cash bonuses. By itself, this is a sign the company needed cash. Good idea for a bettor to add to his account balance and also make a withdrawel. Then their checks bounced.

                        From this thread and my own experience, customer service is not up to par. And aside from the NFL limits, I have noted other weird stuff. A few weeks ago, the had an NFL moneyline at -150 that was +230 on all other sites. My theory is that they are shorthanded and can't keep up with the lines.

                        And Monday, the Minn/NO game was not there with the NFL lines in the afternoon and evening. WTF?

                        I hope they get solvent and stay afloat, but I am worried.

                          I ended up having to re-submit my wire transfer details today via email to them following a live chat session that I had with one of their customer service reps. I believe that you both had to do this as well? I actually received a confirmation email shortly after I emailed them with my info again, which was a complete shock, b/c this is the first communication/confirmation that I have received since this whole process was first initiated. And it wasn't just a no-reply email confirmation; it actually was personalized. Did you guys get this as well? If so I guess the next step is that they are going to contact me and tell me that they will be sending me a check, rather then do the bank wire. But my wire is supposed to be for $7,500, and I know their limits are $2,500 per check. Did either of you have to split your wire amount into multiple smaller checks or did they just cut you a larger check? Thanks for all the info and insight...such a frustrating process.

                            GoTerps, I was also in shock today. I sent them an email asking what the deal was, and they responded by asking me to verify my bank information (which I had already done). So, once again, I sent in my info and within hours I had a reply telling me...

                            "Thank you for confirming the details.

                            We will immediately forward the information to the processing team. They will confirm all the wiring information sent by you and will proceed with the cash out process once the request is approved.

                            We have started sending out all Bank Wire requests starting October 1st 2008, following the order in which they were received.

                            We thank you once again for all your support and understanding.

                            Please feel free to contact us for any further queries.

                            I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this is finally it. But with this site, you never know.

                            By the way, has anyone else noticed that when you receive a customer service email, the sender's name on the bottom is never the same? I have sent in numerous complaint emails and it is always a different person that responds. Something tells me though that its just one person who always uses different names (all of which are American-sounding), because I doubt this website has the resources to employ that many customer service reps.. and of all the reps that I have spoken with on the phone, none are American. Just something I've noticed.

                              I got the same email. Hopefully this is a step in the right direction. We'll see. Let me know if and when the wire transfer ever comes, and I'll be sure to do the same.

                                I requested a Bank Wire and really kept on customer service once the 5th business day approached. After 7 business days, they sent me a detailed e-mail advising that they were going to send a check via FedEx instead. They never requested that I resend my bank info for the wire a 2nd time; however, GoTerps2344 is not the first person I've heard them do that to.

                                GoTerps2344 - I'd suggest breaking the $7500 into smaller withdraws. In my opinion, $7500 raises too many red flags. I'd suggest doing withdraws of $2000 or less. If your bank sees an amount of $7500 deposited from a foreign bank, they might investigate it. In conclusion, this is just my opinion but if I were in your shoes I'd break it up.

                                  DannAconda44,I agree bro. All of a sudden, customer service is responsive and providing useful information. Call it speculation but I have a feeling that the owner(s) have temporarily stepped in attempting to safe the book. Until recently the customer service reps from India (i.e. cheap labor) have been useless. Obviously, the higher ups have stepped in. Let’s hope that they keep it up.

                                      I just got finished talking to Customer Service at Sportsbetting via LiveChat and phone. I was able to reach them through chat after a 15 minute wait, and by phone after 25 minutes.

                                      I requested a cashout via bankwire on Sept. 30th. They told me it had been processed 10/8, yesterday, and that I should have the money in my account within 48 hours. Therefore by tomorrow, at the latest, the bankwire should show up. That is great news, and I will know by tomorrow if it is true.

                                        I don't know what could happen but I've just been advised by my C.P.A. friend to keep deposits below 2 grand to avoid red flags. $7500 isn't a fortune but it's a big enough deposit to raise some eye brows. If you're bank somehow figures out that the funds are from an offshore gambling site, they will reject the check. You're better off in my opinion keeping the deposits smaller. Once again, this is just my opinion but I really think it's the safest route. Better safe than sorry my friend.

                                          Good luck 9XL. I've yet to hear of a successful bank wire from them. If the bank wire doesn't happen, you might end up receiving a check via FedEx as I did. Let us know what happens.

                                              I have done many larger wires then 10 dimes don't worry at all less thes 10 is a small amount on big deal...
                                              you will get paid today in a week that is today next week it could be a nightmare

                                                They seem to be making good on paying people. I've received 3 checks from them recently and haven't seen any them bounce as of yet. I might have to wait till the end of the month to make sure the checks clear without any problem. I did have a check bounce from them 1 month ago but they've made up for that amount with the new checks. I'm still waiting on a few checks but the amount they've sent me so far has more than covered my initial deposit along with a decent amount of my winnings. From what I've seen recently, you should get paid. I have no idea how long that will take though.

                                                    I called again today to ask about the pending wire transfer. I was on hold for approximately 15 minutes before I reached a rep.

                                                    So I asked what the deal was and why my money had not been wired. They told me that I had to re-send my bank info (first name, last name, bank name, bank address, bank phone #, bank ABA #, bank account #, account holder's name) to wirepmt@gaminghelp.com. This was news to me. I had sent this exact information in before to support@sportsbetting.com, which they told me was adequate at the time. Now, apparently there is this other email address we need to send our info to.

                                                    So I kept the guy on the line while I sent it, in case the email bounced back.. So far it has not.. The guy told me it will be in my bank account in 48 hours. So obviously I don't believe it and will make sure to inform you all of the next obstacle that I need to overcome to get this money.

                                                        Sorry for doubting you man. I was just pissed when that first check bounced about 1 month ago. I hope the payments continue to flow for all you guys.

                                                        I agree with cinpls081. This book can be clueless at times but they do eventually pay. You just have to be patient because it can take a while.

                                                        Let me know if any of you receive a successful wire. I've seen checks flow and delivered from FedEx but I still haven't heard about a Bank Wire going through for anyone from this book.

                                                          I was told by CS that my bankwire had already been processed Wednesday and should arrive yesterday, Friday. It didn't show up in my account so I contacted them yesterday.

                                                          Turns out, I had to re-submit my bankwire info via email. I had already done this on their website 2 weeks ago. Why I was told that my payout had already been processed and was on its way, I have no idea.

                                                          Well, I sent the email yesterday with my bank info, and received the automated response that my new request had been received. I don't know when this one will be "processed" and sent.

                                                          Their customer service is the worst I have experienced of any online sportsbook. That being said, I will continue to play there if they do eventually payout.

They told me from that point that my money would be in my bank account in 48 hours. I check my account literally 20 times per day looking for it, but nothing.

                                                                In my last post, I mentioned that they had me send my info to wirepmt@gaminghelp.com. Has anyone else had to do this? Because I had never even heard of it until Friday.

                                                                  CS never asked me to do send my wiring info to wirepmt@gaminghelp.com but I just did it anyways, b/c I saw that they had asked you. I don't think I need to tell you, but obviously there was no email response back. I talked to CS today both on the phone and through their live chat and I mostly got told the same story. Were having issues, be patient...Your wiring info been forwarded to the accounts department...Should be in your bank account soon, as it was processed...We can't give you a specific timeframe as to when it will appear.

                                                                  It wouldn't have been such an issue if they had not advertised the fact that it would be delivered within 5 business days. When you do that, people count on that information, and when the money doesn't come within that timeframe, people get annoyed, angry, and worried.

                                                                  I'm just so sick of dealing with these people, but the fact of the matter is, I'm going to continue to bother them with calls and chat sessions until the matter is resolved. It seems like that may be the best way of dealing with these idiots. Maybe not...

                                                                  Can the wire actually appear at any point throughout the day or is it kind of like a check, where it appears the morning after it clears?

                                                                    I completely agree that they made the problem worse by saying "3-5 days." I bet they are being bombarded with angry customer complaints all day, every day. You have to figure that this makes their lives pretty difficult, and they should want to resolve the situation soon.

                                                                    In addition, there is no consistency with what they seem to be telling customers. We have gotten the run-around, and I probably speak for most people when I say that I will definitely not be returning to them in the future. And then we hear and read about other people requesting transfers and getting checks Fed-Ex'd instead. I really don't know what to expect anymore. I'll give it till tomorrow afternoon before I contact them again, probably through email. Although I know that there will be some new thing that I need to do, and they'll say "48 hours" again.

                                                                    In terms of the wire and when it appears in the bank account, I'm not sure. Sometimes when cash is deposited, it appears as part of your "available balance" but not "posted balance." So I figure, if the wire is treated as cash, the same will be true. If it is treated like a check, then it should appear the next day.

                                                                      Yes, I also got the email telling me to send my bank info to that email address. I did, and got the return email saying my request had been received.

                                                                      They told me 48 hours into my account last Wednesday and I am still waiting. It would have been better of them to just be upfront and say it would take longer than that.

                                                                      Who knows how or when it will show up. The last payout I requested, the customer service rep told me it was going to be 20 days and it showed up next day via FedEx.

                                                                      If they just told me, it's going to be 2-3 weeks, and it arrived in this time frame than it would be great. They should not be telling clients it will be 48 hours when they can't do it.
