    5dimes login issue

    A very weird problem has come up for me with 5dimes. Earlier today I was using my account with no problems, but now it will not let me log in. I am typing the account # and password correctly, caps lock is not on and there are no spaces or anything like that. I went to their live help and spoke with three separate representatives, to no avail. They all asked for my account # and password, and when I gave it to them they said they could access my account with no problems and that the problem must be with my computer.

    I've restarted my computer, cleared the cache and cookies from my browsers and attempted logging in with Firefox, Chrome, and Internet Explorer. Nothing works. Every time I try to log in it just reloads the log-in page with the message "Invalid Customer ID or Password entered." Has anybody else had this problem? Any suggestions? I will award 25 points if anybody can help me, since the customer service cannot.

    I used to have a problem when logging in from my blackberry. For some reason the username and password would have a tiny space inbetween them, it was to small to back space. i wrote the username and password in word and then copied and pasted to get the spacing correct.

    thanks Rollins, but I have tried that as well. I've copied and pasted from word, I've also written directly in the textboxes, but it just won't let me log in. Meanwhile I'm told there are no holds on my account, the server is not down, and that I should be able to log in with no problem.

    can't login to 5dimes

    sorry for the double post, I posted a similar message under "sportsbooks and the industry," but only received one response there and thought someone here might be able to help.

    I'm not able to log in to my 5dimes account from this computer. I've tried every browser, I've tried clearing the cache and cookies from each browser, I've restarted my computer, reset my modem, but nothing seems to help. The strange thing is that when I later tried using a different computer in a different place, I was able to log in just fine. Then I returned home and I still can't login to 5dimes from this computer . Each time I try it just reloads the same login page and says "Invalid Customer ID or Password entered." This problem just started today, came out of nowhere. A few hours before I had logged in just fine. The customer support at 5dimes was unable to help. 50 points if anyone can help me solve this problem. Thanks.

    Have you tried sending an e-mail to them with your IP address? You can title it "attn technical department" and describe your problem exactly as you did above. You can also expedite by calling them telling you have sent the e-mail.

    Let us know what happens.

    make sure CAPS are off when entering password

    I'm able to login to my 5Dimes acct, just checked

    Just tested, and I was able to log on.

    So you did go into live chat and ask about it? They didn't disable your account do to something? I know they disabled mine, because of screen scraping. That is hitting the refresh button their site to many times. I didn't know that was a violation at the time. I couldn't log in when the account was disabled.

    thanks Lou, I'll try that now and see if they know more about this issue than the live chat representatives.

    Yup, caps lock is off, there are no spaces or anything and I know I'm entering the correct account # and password. It worked on another computer from another ip address, but somehow on my only house computer it's currently impossible to log on!

    Try one of their other sites as people stated above. From time to time the "main" site goes down a short while

    the "Invalid Customer ID or Password entered." refers to the info submitted, nothing to do with your capabilities of surfing the web.

    I logged in just fine.

    On live help I asked if my account was blocked for some reason and they said it was not. I spoke with three separate online representatives. They all asked for my account # and password, I gave it to them and they all said that from their end they were able to log into my account with no problem. So they said the problem was with my computer or IP address, which appears to be the case, I just have no clue how to fix it.

    I know others are able to login without problems; the issue is not the server being down or anything like that but rather something with my computer or some block on my IP address.

    Yeah, I got to talk to Tony back when mine was suspended, the live help rep transferred me. Very nice and professional convo at the time, and he reactivated my account.

    Trying to think why your computer wouldn't allow you, and let someone else, but drawing a blank.

    I figured it out. I created a sportbet account not realizing that was the same thing as 5dimes. Issue resolved.

    I started having the same problem with my PCs in my house last Saturday night. Still have not resolved the issue. Spoke to 5dimes multiple times. I can still log in using my iphone, so I know it's not my account. I've logged in 1,000s of time through the years, so it's not that I'm doing it wrong.

    I'm wondering if it's my cable provider. I tryed everything like lasker did - "tried every browser, I've tried clearing the cache and cookies from each browser, I've restarted my computer, reset my modem, but nothing seems to help. "

    I have tryed three different computers in my house they all started having the same problem last Saturday night. Using 5dimes through my iphone is great when not at home, but not so great compared to using 5dimes on the PC.

    And
    http://5dimes.tv and propbet.com gives me the same error message.

    I'm not sure where to go from here.......

    As I said I know it's not my account or 5 dimes since my iphone works fine, but not sure what the issue is with my in house PCs.

    Hoping someone had the same problem and resolved it, though I'm not optimistic. I've tryed everything.

    i was having the same type of problem at sportsbetting.com - for some reason norton security idenity passwords being on created the problem. when i eliminate the norton toolbar i was able to sign in, using explorer. i have to get rid of norton toolbar or use another browser to not get an error message when signing in to sportsbetting.com - hope this helps.
