WSEX Sportsbook player reports payment; slow-pays update
A WSEX (SBR rating D-) player reports payment. The player received a $600 payout on February 18th, 2012. The player was waiting for his funds since December of 2010. He tells SBR that the payment has successfully cleared his bank. SBR has removed the player's name from the list of WSEX players owed.
On January 24th, SBR reported a WSEX Sportsbook statement regarding the payment delays. WSEX blamed the extreme delays on US banking laws. WSEX claimed that the financial backlog was expected to be completed by September 2012. The last major surge of WSEX payments occurred in the fall of 2010, when players reported receiving $124,617.
SBR has 137 WSEX withdrawal complaints on file. Players have reported being owed $760,854. WSEX management is no longer communicating with SBR.
