BookMaker BetPoints Redemption

Has anyone used the Bookmaker.com BetPoints redemption? I have ordered an iPad 2 and was told I don't get the iPad 2 itself, but rather a coupon to go to the store to get one for free.

Is this legit? I don't want to go all the way to the Apple Store an hour away and end up just looking like an idiot with an invalid coupon in my hand.

they will get you a gift card from amazon, worth a free iPad... they did that with some of my items....
