I am new to this community, actually stumbled onto the site looking for reviews about Sportsbook.ag and found the 19+ page thread about the guy with a $26K parlay who couldn't get a payout b/c of a **********... an interesting read here. Anyway, I fell into Sportsbook.ag through their poker rooms. Obviously, the reviews I found here and elsewhere weren't so great and luckily, I don't have a large amount of money tied up with them. I read reviews by SBR about some of the other books, but several of the top-ranked books don't utilize SSL (https) on their site. Being new to the sports book arena, I wondered if that raises red flags for anyone else.
I looked specifically at 5Dimes. I registered for an account, etc but haven't funded it because the login form on the homepage and the **** processor are all transmitted in the clear (no ssl to encrypt the transaction). It's not a big deal if I am working from home, but using PC's and mobile devices on other networks could be a problem.
This is my first post, so please be gentle if this strikes you as a top contender for dumbest question of the year.
