Updated Tips on not being limited
know there was a thread a really long time about this.

besides the play casino once in a while, throw in a parlay

does anyone have more tips on not being limited?
    for live betting as well.

its easier to beat the books that limit you then beat pinny...so how do we prevent them from limiting is the question

There is no way to prevent this, simple as that. Except for deliberately adding some losing bets, maybe. If you consistently beat the market, bet on odds that drop, and make profit, you will get limited.

That must be some crappy backyard book, checking profitability on WITHDRAWAL... never heard of that

And if it's a crappy backyard book, I wouldn't want to run my balance up too high without requesting a withdrawal

                  Two simple ones:

                  1) Do not deposit and withdraw frequently. Unless you badly need the funds keep a balance in safe books - if there is one thing bookies hate more than winning players it is incurring the transaction costs of moving money about.

                  2) If you manage to hit a very good number at a 'sharp' book or on an exchange, it is worth the 'cost' of occasionally arbing/dutching that off against a bad number at a recreational book. By way of example I had an in-play bet on Betfair matched last night which was around 30 clicks away from fair value. I decided to take a small profit on that by arbing it at Ladbrokes. The EV of my Ladbrokes play was definitely negative but I would view that as worthwhile 'investment'.

Do whatever you want and you'll still get limited if you start beating the bookie or bet on the dropping lines or even best market lines.

i consider myself being limited late - usually after year or so, sometimes after several years.

dont chase obvious steam, look for value early. never overdo it.

you will still get limited (or in some cases - bounced out); dont take it personally.

Sometimes you have to lose instead of keep winning..place the bet you want elsewhere and lose the vig..good tips imo

Its not about winning mate. If u like playing the best odds of dropping odds, you will get the kick.

Best way not to get limited is to tail some of the picks here from SBR posters and hope you break even.
