16 of your 19 posts since you joined a whopping 5 days ago have been bashing 5dimes with either their check problems, which in fact this IS NOT THEIR PROBLEM, or that they rigged blackjack.

so please, do us all a favor and tell us how YOUR BANK wanting to put a hold on a check is 5dimes fault?

You dont seem very knowledgable about business finance here buddy. 5dimes accts. dept. manager admitted that of the checks written this month, many of them have not been cashable by the banks or have bounced. So you ask about why this "hold" isnt 5dimes fault? Well the bank says this processor that they are using has had many checks bounced, etc. go wrong. So Yes, it is 100% 5dimes fault on what processors they decide to use. The check I rec'd looks like it was made by someone buying checks at a Office Depot!

I guess that none of you can see the bottom line. The DOJ is making life miserable for all off shore books and this is only going to get worse. There is not a thing that anyone can do about it. The danger here is that no one knows exactly what information the banks are giving the DOJ. Ask, and they will not tell you. I have a very good working relationship with my bank manager. When I asked her about this very issue, she basically said that any check from any off shore book raises more red flags than a 20 car pile up at Daytona. She said that she could not tell me what proceedures that they must do as far as the DOJ is concerned, but the mere fact that there are proceedures should raise red flags with you guys. Just look at what has happened in the last two years and you wikll see where all of this is headed.

I don't think it is federal regulation. I've deposited* checks for 4-5,000 from off shore a few years ago and Suntrust allowed it to be withdrawn the next day.

It might be a bank thing, or honestly, it might be a credit thing. People with bad credit, I'm sure they don't let them have access to their funds as quickly until the money is 100% approved.

How ignorant, you are towards people man, obviously there are some kinks if these guys are having so many issues....

I once had an issue with 5Dimes, but when I did finally talk to a manger (after many calls, requests for my account#/password and being put on hold) they straightened the situation out quite nicely. The manager I talked to was very to the point but at the same time understood my concerns. It would have been nice to use moneybookers right away instead of having to wait a month after sign up, that was a major for me.

I also thought that I would get their advertised lines and sign up bonus, but you quickly learn that they offer two sets of lines and you have to pick between the bonus or the good lines, I'm sure it's my fault though, I didn't read the fine print. oops.

As you can see I also recently signed up, and while I'm likely to get flamed for that, I'm sure it doesn't subtract from the fact that I had an experience with a sportsbook...right?

P.S. blackbeSSt: If you think about it logically the fact that you have higher numbers of 'noobs' complaining about sportsbooks makes perfect sense; since there is a community of people aimed to help those in need HERE it is only natural. I would also venture to guess that site complaints are an excellent source of new registrations for SBR forum.

That's what I think also; just look in particular at the Sunday and Monday night games this year; until the Jags upset this past Monday. The favorites have been winning and covering most of the games. And the lines have drawn everyone to the favorites. Saints opened -13 over Colts instead of maybe -16. Everyone parlays Saints and Over. The Bears opened -2 1/2 on Vikes in Chicago? Jets opened -7 in New York against winless Miami. Packers opened -4 against Falcons and ended up 7. And on and on all year on the big money night games. This has been the trend all season and the books have gotten killed on 75% of the heavily skewed games. The DOJ is also a concern and can't be ignored. But blaming people's banks is complete bs. 30 day holds and other problems indicate the problem is either the books or the DOJ

I did withdrawl 10/17 via A_C_H, and still have not recieved it today 10/27 and I will not get it today because my bank only does *************** in early morning hours. I am expecting it to got back into my 5dimes account at this point. They can play the processor card all day, but I am not buying it.

Yeah, be prepared for a 10 day return and you covering the fees along with faxing a bank statement. A cs. rep was forewarning me, before they closed my account.

nah im not mad. like i said had he put in the original post "hey guys my bank wants to put a hold on this check cause it looks like someone made it in a van down by the river" then of course people would be a little more open to help. but when he comes in talking about "my bank this" and "hold that" without prior info and only being registered for 5 days, you can't expect people to be receptive. especially knowing that people do sign up here solely to bash books without even having problems.

Our best suggestions are to keep your composure, inform the book of the situation and expect to have to provide proof of the returned check. A good book like 5D will cover any fees incurred and send a replacement.

They say that but from my experience they do negotiate favorably with forum terrorists. I would imagine after you mentioned SBR your problem was fixed almost instantly, regardless of what they said about not negotiating.

5dimes always fixed my payout issues asap once I drop sbr's name. I actually have a few posts about this.

Good luck with this. Who knows what is what at this point. File a complaint with SBR, sure they will look into it for you.

I never understood why people whined about paying a fee to get their money out. If you make money at a book and are gonna gripe about paying maybe a 5% fee to get your money out, you should just go gamble in Vegas or at a casino so you can save that whopping $50-$100.

barley over 300 to get almost 7k a month, including 1 free payout is fine by me to have my CASH in hand in less than 24 hours and not deal with processing problems like delays, bounce checks, and banks..just personal prefernce for each individual player...whats good for me isnt good fpr everybody...just giving my opinion on withdrawl option i favor...im not picky being in the U.S. market

there is nothing worse than making a decent score at a sportsbook, say 8-10 grand, and then going thru a hassle to get it in one shot..im currently going thru this at intertops..funny how you can lose 8 grand in a day if its in your acct but you cant collect it when you want it.

I cash out p/2/p just fine. 5dimes also fixes any troubles I ever have. Always pay me so I have no reason to complain. Don't cashout by check anyway in my opinion.

5dimes payout request update

Hey guys,


On 10/17/11, I requested a check and on the same day requested an ***************. After many phone calls and chats with 5dimes customer service, I have come to learn that we all are being lied to by 5dimes.

Ex.
I spoke with someone in the accounting dept. on why the banks would not accept my check for deposit or cash and why my A,C,H has taken so long after being advertised for taking 3-5 business days. CS at 5dimes is horrific, I was asking to speak with a manager in the accounting dept. and the CS would say "she just went to the bathroom" next was "she just went to smoke" seriously not a joke next "she is on the phone with someone else" I swear guys this is the kind of crap 5dimes was trying to feed me but I had none of it.

So after hours of telling the CS manager I was pissed and demanded my money in another effort besides check, he put me in touch with the accounting dept. Manager.


This is where the bullshit meter comes through the roof:
I was told by the accounting manager that she is the one who sends off the batches for the A,C,H. And that therer was a delay in the batches sent out from the bank and that they were sent out at a later date on 10/24/11, if I did not recieve it on the 27th or 28th to contact 5dimes and send in my bank account records to show I did not recieve my A,C,H. Pure Bullshit people, first I am an accountant whether everyone wants to make fun or me or not. I deal with A,C,H transactions everyday for customers and employees. I create the batches myself. Heres the deal, once you create the A,C,H batch or (*************** batch) and send it off to the bank. My friends, I know within a few hours if the A,C,H accounts numbers are incorrect. The money would return to me that day or the next. This 10 business day wait time is all bullshit. And why should I send in my documents to 5dimes if the lady can see the funds have been returned? It's because she cant. This lady was giving me bullshit stories like she was an accountant. The truth is the processors are sending out the A,C,H and checks. 5dimes accounting dept. doesnt do anything but ask for identification.

Since the banks will not accept my check, I was given the option to mail the check back to the processor, which is in the United States, so I can get my money back onto the site.

Thats what pisses me off. Making you send bank statements for their mistakes. Not only do u have to wait for the delay, but you are forced to do everything to recieve the funds.

Well im not thrilled to hear this going on. I have received 3 checks from them in the last 3 weeks and i have deposited them through the ATM and each has cleared the next business day. Also have received several wires without any issues. Only problem i have had is an *************** delay which i requested on the 17th. Should i be expecting these checks to bounce? I would imagine 2 of the 3 would have by now, its been over a week for 2 of them!
