Why does ibcbet require agents?

Because they have players with credit accounts.

BTW, From what I can recall IBCbet was a solid Asian book.

The problem is it creates a whole family tree of agents and players. The problem lies in the dishonesty of these agents and players. I have read in some forums agents complaining of players that owe them money and have since run off and also agents that refuse to payout the winnings to players.

In my country of singapore I suppose this betting company is probably the biggest online apart from the country's one and official betting outlet singapore pools.

The problem with using ibcbet is that it doesn't allow immediate transfers from the website to a person's bank account and needs an agent. This is the same for a number of sites that require e-wallets to fund them like moneybookers and no direct transfers.

The main problem with ibcbet is that the party that helps the individual to make bets and winnings is a 3rd party that is typically a stranger. I think this is the case for most asian countries that ibc is popular in.

Of course when it involves money and especially huge sums of money with strangers and typically only a guarantee that they can be trusted numerous ppl have ended up with their money not returned by the agents and also in other cases bettors losing money and refusing to pay the agents the remainder of the sum.

It's a freaking corrupt system and should not be allowed to exist in this very day and age where almost everyone has an internet connection and should be able to make his own bank transfers and open his very own account with any e-wallet services.

FYI other online sites like dafabet, Bet365 and Betinternet can all be accessed in my country, there's no need for agents to play with them. i suppose ppl are just simply too lazy to search and go through the trouble to open a money bookers account. Ibcbet is also heavily advertised in a couple of local forums.
