    Most Reliable Withdrawals in U.S.?
Over a decade ago, when this industry was very young, I used to bet via WSEX. They were great. I made numerous withdrawals from them - much larger than anything I'd put in - and the xxxxxx always came via FedEx very promptly.

Now, however, I've read SBR's brutal accounts of what's apparently happened with WSEX, and so, reluctantly, I'm going to move to another sportsbook (I haven't bet in several years).

However, I'm having difficulty finding a site that is totally reliable (please note that prompt, timely payments to the U.S. are my #1 concern). SBR themselves gave an A+ to 5Dimes, so I set up an account there. There were a few problems right away:

    1) The site interface just seems a little bit ghetto and like a fly-by-night site, rather than a stolid business.
    2) When I opened the account (I didn't make any deposits) there was some sketchiness concerning my personal info: you can't change your password without going through their customer service line, and they share the same customer service line with other sites, I believe.
    3) By default, I noticed that my account info was incorrect: they said I was a female born on 6-6-66 (???). Again, I couldn't just go into my profile and adjust this (like you would at any other site - Amazon or eBay or whatever) but had to go through their operators.
    4) A complaint against 5Dimes from the users (http://www.sportsbookreview.com/player+reviews/5dimes/) seemed to be a sketchy payout system (although most of the comments were favorable, to be fair).

So....I'm just asking people here, knowing that my main interest is fast and reliable payouts, if 5Dimes is the best option. What about Bodog? I see that their moneylines for baseball are kind of crappy, but they do have a solid reputation and their site has all the hallmarks of professionalism.

I plan on starting this weekend, and so I could really use some help for finding an online sportsbook that can be counted on to make reliable payouts to the U.S.

    Thanks so much.

Just bumping this because I wanted to start betting on Sunday and so I'd really, really like to get this issue settled. Please provide any insight you can.

I have money in a few books and 5Dimes is by far the best option if you're in the US.

I'd highly suggest you reconsider your criteria and put RELIABILITY over presentation.

5Dimes, Greek, and Bet Jamaica are the best books we have access to.

Bookmaker and Bodog being 2nd tier. They pay, but their lines have way too much juice and they don't hang lines for any obscure leagues.

If you want presentation, go with bodog or bookmaker.

If you want to a quality book overall, go with 5Dimes, Greek, or BetJamaica... And don't take any bonuses.

        Thanks, iQon.

Bear in mind that it's not only the presentation of 5Dimes that made (makes) me a little bit leary. Yeah, I do think that they're obviously a little bit shoddy in their presentation, but there's also structural things - like setting up your own account and having access to it. It just all seemed sketchy, way more than WSEX was back when I used them.

But I'll take your advice and still keep 5Dimes as the frontrunner.

Looking at the April Payouts thread (http://forum.sbrforum.com/sportsbook...t-reports.html) - which I think is a great idea for a thread, personally - it looked like Pinnacle had the best feedback. But Pinnacle's not available in the U.S., right? (That's what it says at their SBR profile, although I can't see that noted at their site.)

Thanks, guys. This is a big help and makes me more confident in the quality of 5Dimes. So I believe I'll start with them and have a couple of Plan B's. My hope is that I can feel as confident in somebody (hopefully 5Dimes) as I did in WSEX all those years. There, I never even thought about the bookie: all my thoughts were just on the games themselves and I wasn't freaking out about screwy lines or a bogus company. It's horrible that they devolved into a bunch of sleazeballs. Hopefully, 5Dimes will fill the void.

I have had great luck with Betonline, Legends and Betjamaica. Interfaces vary as well as betting options. Keep in mind most sites will require you to provide your password to customer service. If you go with any book rated in the A range you should be good.

I would really push the Betonline book right now though for a few reasons...

                Fantastic mobile site.
wide variety of betting options (not as much as 5dimes but more than the average book)
                wide selection of banking options
Better bonus guarantee... they will match any books bonus rated B or higher on SBR's ratings... so you can find a book that may look shady but is currently offering a 100% bonus and you can have that matched at a book that should be rated in the A range.

Finally Alex is a stand up manager and gets shit done. He truly cares about his players unlike Tony. I had a few issues and he took care of me as well as sending me a bottle of vodka out of the blue.. totally not needed but when books do that they will have loyal players..

(Just waiting for another reload promo Alex maybe 45% reload on a 500 deposit?)

just to add my 2 cents, both of your books in question (5D and bodog) I have received 4-figure payouts before without any hassle whatsoever. I agree with you about the 5dimes website, i thought the same exact things like you do when i first had signed up. but what got me in the end was its one of the few books with reliable CC deposits, $1 minimum sports bets and .25 cent horse wagers (I'm a light bettor usually min depositing so to be able to bet $1 10-team parlays for example gives me extra plays and i can have some fun doing it).

also for the most part their chat rep and phone reps, tho sometimes incompetent, have generally helped me out and have been courteous. i've only had one mis-graded wager and upon calling them to fix it, they actually credited my account with a few extra bucks for the trouble. the e-chek cashout is also a very nice feature, and they also offer a once a month free payout as well. lastly they have so many betting options like parlaying multi-sports like soccer/tennis/golf/boxing/academy awards lol etc. and lots of bonus programs (10%/rebate racebook, all kinds of bonus/rebate casinos, live dealer casino with $25 free bet, reduced juice, and all kinds of other stuff)

I have had no problems at some of the books that get a lot of bad press here unfortunately.

I have deposited via ** to Betus, Betgameday, and SI and have had zero issues getting checks in a timely manner once all paperwork has been cleared.

can't go wrong with betjamaica or the greek... same day payouts, management is available, and unlike 5dimes, they will not cut u off unless you're account is well over six figures and in that case congrats!

Thanks for all the input, fellas.

I did end up going with 5Dimes, and everything appears okay (although there are some administrative procedures that were a pain in the butt. But, apparently, that's the way that the industry has had to go in the past few years because of the war the U.S. has waged on them.)

Just in case, though, I made sure to set up a pair of back-up accounts that I can make deposits to and start working in case there's any malfeasance. But, like I said, based upon my early experiences and everything you guys have said, it really looks like 5Dimes is an honest business.

5dimes is by far my favorite book and I'm in the United States. Their reduced lines are great, they offer a lot of props, and offer live betting as well. I've cashed out twice with them and while they do make you jump through a few hoops (CC verification crap, you have to fax them a couple sheets of information but it's only once, then you are golden), the payout was timely and for the full amount.

                                              Highly recommended.
