i really don't care what happens to a sportsbooks if a customer stiffs them. the chances people have to stiff books, then the even smaller amount of people who would stiff a book even if they could is small. but because players always take that first risk,sending funds to a book, and how easy it is for a book to stiff a player, that is my huge concern. they should always follow thier own rules. hell they wrote them. and the reason for forums like this one is they can't even do that,follow thier own rules. so whatever cory did or did not do and when he did or did not do it does not have anyrhing to do with the f a c t that cory won the money fair and should have been paid. easystreet is a scam book. would it be more offensive to supporters of easystreet here if they stiffed 46 people for $1000 each. is there a difference. would there be more outrage. no difference to me. stiff once -- you will do it again -- and again -- and again.

Xstud: You misinterpret both my motives and my request to Cory. I don't "want" another thread merely on the "topic of this book," as you imply above. I want Cory to post the complaint in the lawsuit, so we can see proof that it's real; and in the event that the lawsuit is actually brought, I want to see a thread about it -- with updates, posters' thoughts, opinions from all of the jail-house lawyers on this board, etc. I think a thread on the lawsuit of Cory v. EZ, et al. would be much more newsworthy and interesting than the status quo -- which is a thread that has become little more than Cory bumping old news in order to try to hurt those who robbed him. Moreover, I am pretty sure that if a thread on the lawsuit (attaching the pleadings filed, etc.) was started, this thread would fall away, to the extent that the new thread stayed on the front page. I think that would be an excellent trade off. That's why I said what I said to Cory above -- not because I wish to have the same old news bumped and regurgitated -- but for precisely the opposite reason (something new to discuss). Make sense?

And as far as the lawsuit, I find that to be VERY NEWSWORTHY. the only problem is that Cory hasn't provided any proof yet of the suit. If an American player could successfully sue a Costa Rica based online casino/sportsbook, that would open many many doors for many people. The implications of such a suit taking place are much bigger than the respective rights of the current parties (Cory, EZ, RX, etc.), and such a precedent would potentially affect all Americans' rights going forward. So, I disagree with you vehemently when you state (above) that my encouraging of Cory to post a thread about the lawsuit is "not being responsible." To me, being "responsible" means encouraging the dissemination of information that is potentially helpful to the other posters on the board -- and attempting to ascertain whether Cory's suit is real, and to learn the details of that suit, is eminently "responsible."

As for Cory's likelihood of success in the lawsuit...well...that's a whole different conversation, and I have SERIOUS DOUBTS. I'm not a Florida lawyer, however, and I'm hoping Cory and his (supposed) lawyer prove me wrong on this one.

In all seriousness, I think you missed the primary message advanced in my post. I'm not saying I believe him. In fact, as I believe I've said in other posts, I don't think he would be able to even find a lawyer to take that case. This is why I refer to Cory's "supposed lawyer" towards the end of my post to xstud. For that very reason, I was asking Cory to provide proof of the alleged suit. If he did that, it would be very newsworthy. Trying to move Cory's thread(s) in a more meaningful direction, not saying I believe what he's claiming.

M*G is a publicly traded company.

My facts straight. So when you said "If no lawsuit exists I will stop posting" How can I ever determine that one exists or doesn't without proof? I will gladly quit posting if sufficient proof exists.

My comment was not about your lawsuit post. You have been posting for months "Easystreet is going to close" and variations of that... one can easily look back at page 6-7 in this thread and see those comments. I was just reinforcing the fact that everything you type cannot be backed up with any fact at all.

If this was 100% real why would you be concerned with posting a lawyers name? Why would you be concerned with posting a county where it will be filed? Both are items that are available to the public in court cases.

I am not trying to hate on you Cory. I just feel after months and moths of random people supporting you, mods supporting and protecting you and allowing you to spam and stay relevant you have given NOTHING back to this community. Now you are not just giving ZERO back, you are taking the majority of this forum for idiots by posting the lawsuit nonsense. I suggest you read about the BetCascade lawsuit, SBR showed clearly how you handle legal press releases. I would not even post if you gave something back or at least become an SBR pro. All you have to do is deposit 200.00 into one of the sponsor books and you will support a site that has allowed you to spam, release statements with no documented proof and protects you by giving infractions left and right. Surely, if you are going to spend several thousand in lawyer fee's, court costs and time, the least you can do is become a pro at the forum that gave you the ability to post when you want to stay relevant, also not even requiring you to change the wording/text...

Bottom line, I would live to take your statement as "This is 100% real" but remember your video? Remember for months saying "no comment" or "that is not relevant" regarding chargebacks? Since when have you ever provided this forum with anything more than...

b2b.. There is zero chance he would find a lawyer that would sue M.G. I realize it is a public company and you would easily be able to find out if the lawsuit were true but even if by some miracle it were true... do you think it would ever make it to a courtroom? Their legal department would eat Cory for lunch. You can't sue a company like M.G. when you are the one who violated their TOS.

I agree, when you retain a lawyer you generally do not discuss any details. However, according to Cory his lawyer advised him to continue posting. Maybe it is true, maybe this is all real, I just don't know what lawyer would advise to keep posting on any public forum for any reason at all. Why would you want your client giving the defendants such a heads up?

Anyways, I will gladly just sit back and watch because the best way to judge someones character is by their past actions. Cory during his time at SBR has not proven a lot of anything and maybe this time he will, but going by past record the chance of this being true dwindles with each day.

Can't disagree with any of this. Your view on this and mine aren't all that different. You're just more annoyed at Cory than me. I'm still holding out hope that this crazy-sounding lawsuit is somehow real. Like I said earlier, if somehow it were real, the implications would reach far beyond the rights of the respective players in this particular dispute.

At the very least, it sounds like Cory will either show proof of the suit by football season, or quit posting. I can live with that, let's see what happens.
