#39It's frustrating to see WSEX's terrible lines when I peruse SBR odds. I know I can't bet them now. I won't deposit there, though it is tempting.
I want a 30% bonus and Seattle +10.5 -110. Too bad they are insolvent.Comment -

#40As much as Im owed by wsex, all of this is actually making me pretty nervous right now.
I always believed SBR's statements about wsex/mb ownership and felt as long as wsex had mb which seemed to be profitable for them that "someday" i would get my cash from them.
But now this???
MB is going to come out of this shining and Im afraid that this could be the last chapter for wsex......
In fact I think SBR is getting all this info now because we will probably be seeing that matchbook banner back up there soon.
Anyone else feel this?Comment -

#43Matchbook is perhaps the best option though it's association with wsex is troublesome. I hope Blackie gets his exchange together and makes it really good.Comment -

first time drinking in awhile for me but i think clowns is a strong word.
if wsex does receive monies from matchbook and they stiff everyone why would people keep playing at matchbook
i get the lines and commission but what happened to honor amongst thieves (not sure if it applies but sounded good).
im holding out for a check from wsex till the end of the month and if nothing comes (which i understand is getting more likely by the day) i've had enough with offshore.
with all the things that could happen not even mentioning a currency crisis why would anyone want money in a sportsbook. wsex was my first book and if they go down they will be my last. i understand many of you make good money but for me it was a nice hobby. if another A book doesnt understand the importance of losing WSEX and somehow make people whole than i dont want my money there either.
thats my story and im sticking too it
good luck to everyone and have a great new year with or without WSEX

#50Matchbook is majority-owned by WSEX, always has been. They are close to announcing new ownership.
Not sure I understand your full post but it's a good thing... for the future of the Matchbook brand. Hopefully WSEX can liquidate these assets and start rehabbing their brand.
Never been our info. We have stated what has been said to us from the horses mouth. Matchbook came down from the forum at the end of their term and was not offered the opportunity to advertise again due to WSEX issues. Matchbook was told it is not possible until the ownership liability is addressed.
This is typical Chuck Sims pretending to know something... Throwing around accusations, inferences and saying silly things like "I'll leave it at that" or "people know the truth" all in an adamant tone, then disappearing until the next thread when you do it all again. Chuck, I'm calling you out. No more leaving it "at that".

#56SBR reported this afternoon on the state of WSEX.
Are you owed funds by WSEX? If so, how much and how long have you been waiting? You can use this thread as a sounding board anytime you have an account update. Additionally, you can submit feedback privately via the sportsbook complaint form.
They havent sent out any significant amount of checks in over 4 months now and peak season for books is over..... not a good sign for us still waiting to be paid.
Why are they fukking us over so badly here? Am i missing something? If they still own matchbook during all of this why could they not AT LEAST compensate owed players with credit there? I just dont get why they have completely abandoned customer satisfaction when their whole rep has been on the line...... WTF!Comment -

WSEX Sportsbook: players owed $438,860
WSEX Sportsbook (SBR rating D-) update. SBR reported on February 2nd that 48 WSEX players were being slow-paid a total of $371,966. The oldest of these payout requests was initiated in February of 2010.
WSEX filling delinquent requests based on most recent owed
Two players have confirmed receiving payment in full. Player one received $8,759 from payouts requested in late 2010. Player two received $2,900 from a December of 2010 withdrawal request.
Eight new sportsbook complaints have been reported by players since SBR's last WSEX update, increasing the amount owed to players to $438,860. The requests were made ranging from March of 2010 to as little as three weeks ago. One player, who requested $3,000 on March 10th of 2010, made an observation noting WSEX's backwards effort in clearing the delinquent withdrawals.
WSEX player: Been waiting since March 10, 2010 for a max withdrawal ($3,000). I don't understand why people that have requested withdrawals well after me are getting paid and I'm still waiting.
WSEX Sportsbook has likely determined that players owed from early 2010 would never again give the sportsbook business, and is selectively choosing which players' payouts to process as funds become available.| WSEX Sportsbook reportComment -

#59WSEX sucks, wake up and smell the coffee, the customers money has been stolen, why post threads like this with no solid evidence to get ppls hopes up SBR
WSEXs reputation is so far down the shitter its past the point of no return, it would take years and alot more than 3/4 of player withdrawals being paid out after a fuckin year to bring it back so doubtful if the players will see a cent of this Matchbook sale assuming it was worth anything anywayComment -

#60I just wish I knew how WSEX went from one of the best books out there to not having any money or customers? They used to be great for betting and payouts and then seems like 2-3 years ago they just dried up. What happened to the boat loads of money they made from 1995-2007?Today is the tomorrow we worried about yesterday.Comment
