This year was my first using Matchbook and it began last May with wagers on MLB. I could not have been too much more pleased with Matchbook and the liquidity of their betting pools for MLB games. Very deep and very liquid.
I don't bet much in the first ten games of a team for the NBA season so just this week I have begun to wager on that sport. The first week or two when I looked at the NBA pools at Matchbook I guess I was just hoping that many other people liked to do what I do and watch a bit of the season before they begin to bet. However, as the season has gone on the pools on individual games is still very small. If a person wants to bet to win $1000 on a game it is often not possible and when it is it usually involves betting right before the game.
I guess my question is for the Matchbook veterans and it is two fold: Is this typical for the NBA on Matchbook and will things change at all when the NFL season is finished (i.e. will more people start to bet the NBA and make the pools larger)?
Thanks in advance for your answers.
