Here I go, I just recently moved and thought once and for all I was safe from gambling mail spam. Well low and behold ... Here is comes all over again in the mailbox, football schedules, casino junk, etc, etc.
So who is the culprit, well, I have accounts at 5 sportsbooks and various poker sites and I only updated my new mailing address with one of them, Bookmaker.com. First of all, I already complained to them a few years back when they were cold calling my house and left a message with a family member saying, "Hot new reload bonuses and a Super Bowl special!"
That was completely unprofessional to begin with because if I gamble or not it's nobody's business but my own and to leave a message pertaining to gambling to a third person regarding my gambling account was uncalled for. I then complained and they said they took me off the phone list, which is fine. However, at the time I could never pinpoint which company was selling my info as far as mailing lists are concerned. Well, now I can say without a doubt bookmaker is doing it.
I never registered a change of address w/ the post office, I never gave any other website my new address (which I was planning on doing to be completely honest, but was too lazy as of late) to any site except bookmaker.com so any idiot w/ who can use simple deductive logic can conclude.
THIS is total B.S once again. I'm already not happy with bookmaker over the affiliate issue as they owe me money which I'll never see (10 active player rule) but for God's sake, where is the respect of personal info???
SBR please downgrade them already. Your site states over and over when a book cold calls is a bad sign of desperation, well also look what they have done to their affiliates (stole millions off of small time webmasters with their change of agreement and impossible terms.) They have always been good to me on the players side of things, payments .. etc.
And YES it's them, like I said they are the ONLY site that has my new address.
