Anyone know where I can place 25K bets and up?
I live in california and dont know how to place wagers such as 25K+. I tried different online sportsbooks and it looks like Bookmaker.com has the highest limits but even that is too low in my opinion.

Any advice on how to place a bet that large?

    thanks,

    Brandon

Why don't you just bet at numerous books so you can reach 25K total? But be careful. I don't have any experience with this because I've never bet that much, but I'm pretty sure you can't exceed a network max by betting at 2 of its own sportsbooks. For example if you bet max at sportsbook.com and then any more at playersonly.com then you will receive some sort of punishment. Only like 70% sure though. Someone confirm this???

Doesn't sportsbook.com claim to take wagers up to 1 million? I read that somewhere once.

Problem is they are ranked D- and if you won its almost guaranteed that the payment wouldn't be handled efficiently (if at all).

You are correct. The only places that allows you to bet the limit in the parent/host relationship without getting into "trouble" is The Greek/Bet Jamaica.

You can find this relationship at http://www.sportsbookreview.com/Spor...ings/Relation/

You have to be very careful and always aware of these relationships because even the "Big Boys" will cancel your bets or worse.

I called once and asked about the Bookmaker - Diamond Sportbook, thinking they would be just like the Greek - Bet Jamaica, but nope. I was told if you bet the max at Bookmaker and then tried to bet more at Diamond or vice-a-versa then it would be up to the manager to approve it or not; what a hassel.

Anyway, better to be safe than sorry, so always check on this relationship if you are betting limits.

          BoL,

Depends on the sport you are betting.

            NFL - no problem
all other sports you will have to max bet at several places to get that much down

Anyone who is betting $25,000 on any single game without a doubt gets down in multiple outs. I know, lay below the radar, and play at 4-7 shops and my max play per game is only $2500.

Any bookmaker will collar you if you beat them, this goes for BM and The Greek.

There are some Asian soccer bookies that take bets that small.

The greek and bookmaker sounds like the best places. Im looking for an alternative to vegas, holly because If Im placing a lot of bets I cant be flying to vegas every time....there will be so many bets I might as well live there and at this point I dont want to live there.

Man, pardon me but it seems out of kilter you would have the means to wager this much action, yet not have a clue as to how to move it.

If you send me 1/2 your bank roll we I can place 12.5k for you and then you can place the other half.

                                      problem solved!

One of my favorite things about the Tank is how it regulates itself.

With that type of bankroll, and your close proximity to Las Vegas you need to do the right thing and hire a runner.

The going rate is $500 a week, and they use the comps from their players card.

Or you can do what Fezzik does, and only pay a commission from his winning tickets. AKA Slave driving.

Anyone that took Fezzik's picks in the past year certainly didn't win anything, so I guess his runners got stiffed?

simple to get down 25K in vegas, if you live in sounthern cal it is a simple drive and bet at the casino. 25K isn't that much if you are serious i wouldn't think. on my last trip to vegas i asked if i could bet 5K on a baseball game and they said no problem without flinching. i was just asking but i can't see it being an issue with manager approval. if not go to to two or three casinos and split it up.
