#142Stall tactics <= Lack of cashflow <= 105 model biting them in the butt?
From the little I understand it's very risky to start out at 105 juice. If you want to be a low juice book, it's better to gradually work your way down from 108 to 105.Comment -

No, BOL is doing very well. Even with the reduced juice package it has been a moneymaking season. Players are still getting 6 figure payouts in a few days. Things should be going very well for BOL.
The action on the account was taken by their casino risk mgt. The only thing we can look at at this point is how fast and how well they communicate with the all parties when there is a large dispute.Comment -

#147BOL mgt. has been in contact with the player in the early goings and since we have been involved the last report was expected by tomorrow. Hopefully in the future BOL will be able to take care of casino issues faster. It looks like Marshal could have said more to reassure the player that unless the report shows conclusive evidence of tampering he will indeed be paid.
There is no evidence of cheating but there is a question about why the 44 different pieces of hardware were logged. Hopefully this ends with the last report and if all is clear, JF can begin to enjoy his winnings.
There hasn't been a case of a player from BestLine or BetOnline ever getting less than he deserved. I am confident we will continue to be able to say that.Comment -

#149Just got off the phone with sportsbook.com and they said all there clients have gotten what they feel they deserved too!!!
I know nothing of Betonline.com and would consider playing there. Monday was the day for this thread to end. The fact it's still healthy and ongoing is bad for them.
edit: read first post: " This conversation took place on Thursday (11/01/07) and Marshall said that he planned on trying to have everything cleared up by the day's end Friday."Comment -

#150Is it even possible that some computer nerd/guru/wizard could hook something up to his computer while playing online black jack that would make the casino's software fire him out winners? I've never played in an online casino but if this is possible maybe I'll start. Seriously, is this possible?Comment -

#151Occasionally things can go wrong with casino software and there are ways to take advantage of it. The most recent example in our forum was with SportsInteraction players. Losses were not being deducted from the balances so players were able to keep collecting with money they only virtually had. Instead of canceling action, SIA put accounts that would have lost at zero.Comment -

We do know this software and our office is close to theirs. I would want to see this with my own eyes. We have had them but I dont recall any with DGS blackjack.
VIP had one on craps. After every 4th snake eyes, the dice would roll a three. There are a lot of similiar cases.Comment -

#154I'm not sure I understand why it is taking so long to get an answer on this. I don't know what the casino manager has going on but you would think that a $70,000 issue would become his priority. It also shouldn't take the software company this long to answer either.Comment -

#156Why is that? Business should be business right? If your an A-book and you stand by your casino and you get to the bottom of the problem quickly with no excuses. Even if the claim is not legit it should still not take this long to get an answer. If this is the way things are done then they need to change it.Comment -

#157Someone hit the Greek casino (playing craps) for $110k once, he had his money the next day. By the time I read his email he told me to forget it, he had his money. Of course this was in the Neteller days but it gives you a good idea of how an A+ book should be ran. No offense SBR but this book was already greatly overvalued in my mind, nothing I see here would change that in the least.Comment -

#158" Casino problems are much different than sportsbook problems. "
Yea, Harder to get out from paying a Casino winner!!!! Less excusses available. The guy won 70K then tries to cashout 40k. If I was him, the second the 40K is aproved......A 30K Book to Book transfer will follow or cashout if transfer is unavaliable!!!!
Again, BOL started looking into this on Nov. 1st !!!!! He didn't spin a online slot and they are claiming an error. He played online Black Jack, ask Ultimate Bet how much poker players piss away on their BJ game!!!! Was he hitting 19 when the dealer had 20??????Comment -

#159I think your question was rhetorical, but nope, never. I played basic strategy based on a card that I found on yahoo images.
On another note, I received an email from the BOL casino manager last night saying that he was in the "final stages of reviewing my account" and that he would be emailing me Friday morning regarding the "progress".

#165They just seem to be borrowing his winnings without his permission. They may have legitimate issues, but appearance is going to matter to their customers. If it turns out he passes their investigation, he deserves a bonus for all this waiting. They also need to not forget the high roller bonus that he earned 3 times over. They have always paid me promptly, but I do have concerns if I should deposit there again.Comment -

#166This was a test account which we still randomly open and play through with emails and questions. This was a royal flush on a progressive.
Most casino players are used to big wins being verfied. Happens in vegas on the slots too on the big pay offs. In sports the final score is it. In the casino world they check for robots and breaches to random number generators. This case does prove that BOL does not have a good system for verfying play. If you got a straight up casino player and he wins big you want to pay him fast and throw in a back rub.Comment -

#167Update!!!
I just received word from BetOnline.com's casino manager (Marshal) that their security check has been completed and that my account has been cleared for a payout. Marshal also informed me that they will be sending out the check for the withdrawal I had requested tomorrow which is also great news and speaks to BOL's efficiency now that their review of my account has been completed.
I hope that in the end, this thread will make for a positive review of BetOnline.com and their ability/willingness to process large payouts. I know their were people on both sides of the fence when this thread was started and hopefully this conclusion has changed the mind of anyone that had doubts about BOL.
The security check BOL needed to do prior to a payout this large was definitely understandable, and even though I have acknowledged that all along, most people in my position would have been losing some sleep due to the amount of money involved.
In conclusion, BetOnline.com is legit and definitely worthy of their "A" rating.Comment -

#170this sounds all too much like a press release from bol. did they write this for you jokerfly?? these guys arn't a bunch of doctors, no way they should have ever made you wait. they pay, THEN they look into the situation to see if something needs fixing. i am surprised i am more upset about this than you. (of course i don't have 40k coming my way) i think after the money arrives you should re evaluate how you have been treated here. they should throw in an extra grand for your inconvenience!Comment -
