For me it was sportsinteraction.com. I used them because I didn't have a credit card and they accepted money orders. I deposited $30 and it took about 2 weeks for them to finally credit it to my account. I turned it into $650 though, which was kind of alot to me back then. Got a check for it. Only took something like 4 weeks to get it via FedEx. Then I just had to find a bank that would actually cash it for me.

sportsbook.com back in 99 or 00, I think they were publicly traded on the London stock exchange back then for a while. I always thought they were a stand up book, I never had any issues with them, think I got lucky. Got wise by 04 or 05.

I wonder if these guys were the same as globalcasino. I honestly can't recall the name, but they were the first I used.
They would routinely leave games up after the games were over. I did very well with them.
Eventually they closed up shop because they were located in PA and not Costa Rica and ended up getting busted.
Then moved on to betanything. They were an even bigger joke. They would let you bet $5 on the browns -7 and then if and only if Browns -7 won, $2500 on Browns -250.
It was so easy 15 years ago!
Also, I remember bettorsworld - it was the most active forum around 1995.

Back around 1996-1997 or so, global sports connection. Does anyone remember them? maybe called GSC as well?
Internet wasn't big around then, but i know there was a site called bettorsworld.com back then (just checked they've been around since 1995 - just a sports info site).
anyways a quick story about Global sports connection. they had some problmes with their software, and when a line changed odds, they kept multiple lines out there for same game by mistake, sometimes there would be 5 or 6 lines out there (some the same). people were parlaying one side for huge payouts. it was usually just 2 lines after a line change. they lost alot of money on that.

Think it was expekt.com. They had some No Deposit bonus going so I signed up. This was of course before I was 18, so I lied on my age. Years later when I was over 18 I had forgotten all about this so I opened an account with them and run up quite the balance, then they hit me with the fact that I had an account with them from years ago, and that the details did not match up.
Fortunately they were cool about it and paid up after I explained what had happened.
