You initiate it through your own online banking.

Get the routing details from the Bitpay site.

Yes, it works like a charm. Takes a couple business days but with only a $5 fee no matter how much you send, it's very cheap.

I don't believe any bank charges for ACH transfers. The $5 fee will come from the BitPay side.

You can find your account and routing numbers under the D1rect Deposit tab at: https://bitpay.com/card/dashboard.

Do I actually have to set up ***************? When i click on this link it asks for debit card information. The account information that I'm looking for isn't there under ***************.

So you’re saying it’s possible to send coins to your bitpay wallet then to your bit pay card and then to your bank account?

I'm not American so have not used it myself, but plenty of posters have. It must be there somewhere.

Hopefully someone will see these posts and offer some extra clues for you.

You have to go to bitpay and get routing and account number off there website then you type it in a one of your external accounts for arch deposit. I can only do it with my savings. My checking doesn’t have the option on the site.

looks like we have to verify our identity in the dashboard first on the bitpay site. this is how we'll get the account number and routing number apparently. I haven't done it yet.- look at #4 of this attachment.

You have to login to your Bitpay card account on a desktop/laptop computer and then one of the options available on the left side will be "Setup Direk Deposit". That'll give you a routing number and account number which you can use to setup ACH transfers through your bank through the bank's online banking (as to setting that up, each bank is different so you're on your own). Bitpay does charge $5 for each ACH withdrawal. Some banks do perform test deposit/withdrawals when setting up the card for ACH transfers for the first time so members here had to reach out to Bitpay to get the $5 fee refunded for the test withdrawal when explaining the circumstances.
