BEWARE OF MYBOOKIE!! .....also please help

    Hello all,

I made my initial payout request with MyBookie in November, here's how it played out.

Nov 28: i request payout , text confirmation is not working so I talk to chat support who tell me to email my issue and all the payout info( amount, method, address, account number, etec) which I do immediately.
They respond by informing me I need to send them new Id, so I comply.

Dec 1st: I receive an email saying they have received my request. Boxes are checked for rollover and documents but not gaming check or instructions have been verified.

Dec 3rd: receive email with all boxes checked. Money has been removed from account.

Dec 4th: over 24 hours no btc received so I send a polite email asking if all is well.

Dec 5th: receive an email telling me that I can expect to see the funds in my account after 7pm EST the following day.

Dec 7th: money is returned to my account and I am offered 100 free play to switch to wire.

Dec 10th: I request wire and give them a call, I am credit with 100 freeplay(which I still have not used)
I receive confirmation email with 2/4 boxes checked. Once again missing instructions and gaming checks. Bottom of this email reminds me that ď keep in mind btc payouts are the fastest payment solutionĒ a slap in the face.

Dec 11th: I log on to find I have been limited and that I will not be receiving payout until I comply with rule #28

After this point i sent them another email, they asked me to contact them over the phone. i responded in email asking them to please deal with me over email, they did not respond, i sent two more emails, they did not respond. they clearly did not want any evidence of my interactions with them
Finally i paid for an app on my phone that records phone calls, then i gave them a call and recorded it, by the end of the first call i was assured that someone in charge of my account would call me the following day, the call never came so i called again. The second call was even worse, i was connected with a customer service agent whom went to connect me with the agent in charge of my case, after assuring me he had connected with the agent and would be transferring my call i was put on hold. Upon returning i was connected with the same customer service agent, whom informed me he was now in charge of my case, so i explained my case to him. Then he just stuttered for a few minutes and disconnected the call (I have the recording, it's actually mildly humorous).

Long story short i am being told i need to comply with rule #28

For those not familiar rule #28 reads like this
"requires equal dollar amounts of action between full games and partial games (first half, second half, quarters, propositions, etc.). This rule applies to live wagering as well."

So basically i am being told in order to get payout i must wager 94k full games.......

Seems like a pretty easy way to rob me in my opinion, not to mention they applied this rule to me after already running me through a bunch of hoops which makes me not trust them at all. I feel like even if i do this, and manage to keep my winnings, they are just going to give me another hoop to jump through later.

I have given these guys so many opportunities to make right and talk with me about this, this has been the most stressful two months of my life. I filed a formal complaint with SBR a few hours ago, let this be a warning to all. MyBookie is dangerous.

Love these obscure bullshit rules some books bring about. Why would anyone even bother playing with a shop like this?

SBR recently upgraded MyBookie to C+. Why??? This "equal action" rule is an obvious ploy to withhold payment to their clients that have completed their rollover fairly. It's a gotcha rule that D- Books pull. If MyBookie continues to pull this shiit, then downgrade them accordingly SBR.

OP is calmer than most dealing with this BS. Got to give him credit for that so far. Hopefully SBR can move this along

    MyBookie, episode 3: the reckoning

Hello Everybody, Welcome to my nightmare

Rule #28 (as posted on MyBookie's house rules page)
"MyBookie requires equal dollar amounts of action between full games and partial games(first half, second half, quarters, propositions, etec."

They told me I needed to bet 94k pregame in order to withdraw.
I lost 2k in my first round of wagers trying to meet their irrational requirements.
Woke up the next day to find they had limited me to $1 on everything.

It is now impossible for me to wager enough to meet their terms, in one human lifetime.

i have spent a considerable amount of my personal time over the past two months trying to get a payout from MyBookie. For those curious as to how far MyBookie has taken this you can read my previous two posts here:

    episode 1:
    https://www.sportsbookreview.com/for...85-normal.html

    episode 2:

The second link contains the full story, the first is more of an inquiry and forum discussion on rule #28 on the site.

Iím certain that everyone feels terrible for you, but outside of filing a complaint with SBR, there isnít anything forum members can do for you. Most of us are aware that MB is a garbage book, so at this point you are just preaching excessively.

Hey man, I appreciate the comment.
I apologize if I am making too much noise, I'm relatively new to the forum and to sportsbetting and i figured people would want to be warned if things were getting even worse. I'll try to quiet down and continue communicating with SBR regarding my complaint.

Hope you get paid OP. The rule is obv ridiculous as if applied correctly less than 1 percent of their players would meet the requirement at time of withdrawal request, and those just by coincidence.

You seem the type of guy who wouldn't make deposits to books without a little research. Did you check out mybookie before you deposited? Some of these scam books are so clever now they understand if they advertise on major TV channels or at big sports events then players will automatically assume they're legit and they get many depositers. I'd always spend an hour Googling a book for issues before ever depositing at it. It saves a lot of time in the long run. I've spent days worth of time chasing moneyn from dodgy books in the past when I hadn't learned this lesson.

    Hey Optional,
    It definitely feels that way.
yes i sent one in before they limited me, I have been in touch over email since then.
I really appreciate you guys helping me out with this whole thing. It was really crazy realizing how much power this book had over the money and the fact i have had SBR here to support/vent has been the only real sense of relief i have been able to get.

Yeah, I mean when i first opened my account they were a pretty new book and i was definitely mislead by their massive advertising campaign. The SBR rating at the time had also instilled some confidence in me. It was pretty troubling to find out that many people on this forum considered them to be a low-rate book.
Thanks for the advice though, i am definitely planning on being more careful in the future

SBR in general does not try to tell bookmakers how to run their businesses. I agree this term is unheard of before and seems unfairly restrictive. It would see me choosing not to use the book at all, on it's own. But I doubt Matt will be approaching it by demanding that they can't operate this way. Probably more talking about what it looks like to try and enforce a rule like this, and how it might affect future ratings for the book. So if they want to stick with their position on this, SBR probably aren't going to go in swinging to say change this particular one.

But, the $1 limit with so much rollover to go is more clear and needs for you to be offered a reasonable solution. That gives him something to talk to them about further.

Make sure you let him know by email.

Thanks for sharing. $1 limits are a way for a book to basically close an account. We'll update with MyBookie's position on if they intend to restore limits sufficient to clear the rollover.

Just saw this thread after responding to you in the other one about mybookie. Sorry to see this happened. I didnt end up getting limited while trying to clear their requirement. I have no idea why they are treating you differently. In my opinion the rule is completely unreasonable to begin with but I can at least wrap my mind around how someone could think that by putting it in their terms and conditions they can justify it. To then limit someone to $1 bets at the same time is completely indefensible.

Just curious why you started on Mybookie? Another website recommendation? I started using the site at the end of November, and haven't been happy with the website. During the NFL season, the site wouldn't allow teasers or some of the odds to go through within 30mins before kickoff. I won't be depositing there anymore.

In my experience Mybookie will eventually pay you but they take their sweet time and call you trying to keep your money in several times before they actually process the payout. Just keep saying no to their offers (which get better and better) and eventually you will get paid.

The truth is live wagering is beatable. And books are businesses. This is an interesting and creative way of them dealing with the problem. Most books cut live or lower limits as soon as you start to win. I'm not sure which is worse.
