FYI, I handled this dispute. BetED did not delete any wagers from the first (legit) account, and paid all winnings. BetEd voided all wagers from the second account, which was deemed fraudulent (shared IP;player of account #1 phoning in to place bet on account #2 after account #1 had limits reduced).

My conclusion was BetEd handled this fairly, and I agreed with every aspect of how they handled these accounts.

So the two future bets in dispute were actually placed on the second account?

I was a welcome customer at BetEd as long as I was losing. When I hit a good streak I was limited to 50 dollar bets...low class outfit.

The player futures were in the first account, and were not deleted. One already won, and the player was already paid on it.

I don't recall what wagers were placed in the second account, but they were all voided.

I was thinking about opening an account with Bete. Since i have heard so many bad news came out from that site, I changed my mind to stay away from them now.

Jack..., if you read Justin7's comments a few posts above yours, you'll see that the player was taking a shot here, and he believes BetEd handled the dispute fairly. Given that Justin is probably one of the more player-minded mediators, this thread isn't a reason to avoid BetEd. There may be other reasons, sure, but a lot of the disputes are shot-takers.

Good call, Justin. Given the facts, you can't fault BetEd for voiding the second account completely.

Predictable, and disappointing. If I remember correctly, Beted was already downgraded once for freerolling players. This is another example.

Even with this decision, it would still be preferable to give the player a choice. If he wants, he should still be able to access his funds. Even if that is with the understanding that he could only withdraw his initial deposit, this could give him the leverage to transfer the funds to another book. That may be risky, but that risk may be preferable over just handing in 7K.
